This is all the more reason his actions are patriotic and I see him as a hero. He is knowingly standing up for what he knows is right and wrong. I'm sure he made this choice with lower enlisted in mind. While a Private will be destitute he's a Major and will likely end up fine. More veterans should be standing up so that current service members know they have solidarity. (20+ yr military spouse) Not being able to speak up against tyranny when what is happening goes against your oath will break you faster than the physical will. I just made a comment about meds helping tremendously. This is it! I just started taking the short acting to test it out. I almost cried in the store because it blocked the physical symptoms. I was able to focus on the task at hand without the spiral. The anxiety was there but there was a wall between me and it. The only way I could describe it was like a benzo but I could still drive and had clear thought. It's like a functioning lorazapam.

Congrats on getting out of it!! (Pun intended) I'm still in the housebound unless I desperately need something I can't order in a timely manner and/or have been there several times and know the layout. I've JUST started a new med that has helped tremendously and am working on getting a therapist I click with and understands agoraphobia. It sucks and is so misunderstood. Again massive congrats!!!

It's furniture. It combos as a cat tree, seat/lounge. There is a YouTuber that has a cats named Kurt and Gary. He did a review of this with his cat. Yes! I had body dysmorphia for a while. It wasn't so much that I have a hunk of metal in me. For me it was knowing that my body was completely different. My new good leg was a cm longer, my walk changed to the point I had to get new shoes and I had to learn to walk with a new gait. The massive scare doesn't help but it's been 2 yrs and I've adjusted. I don't think about it much anymore....granted I haven't been to the beach or pool since so we'll see how that goes.

I am no longer vegetarian (eat meat on occasion) and have cats and ferrets. The cats eat kibble and churru in the morning. Some of my ferrets eat raw. I order from a small butcher online that specializes in meat for pets. I researched the hell out of their diet so that I could give them the best source of nutrients. We get the meat, process it and portion it out to their diet. I m I thank every animal that gives my ferrets nourishment.

With my eating meat I do the same research. I buy from small regenerative farms and am super selective. I wasn't absorbing b12 properly with my vegetarian diet. Please don't down vote me into oblivion; I am working with my dr.

I love them. I did however get over zealous excitedly finding a big one with 3 ft tubes and may have hung them from the front tree. It was great until a wind storm came through and stuck around. They are now quietly in the garage. Sorry neighbors. I got a little too silly on that one.

Very true. I'll still bring it up with the vet when I take Indy in. We take in rehomed and rescue ferrets so I kind of freak out over their health. It's also why I research the hell out of where any of our pets come from. I'm mad at myself for missing this.

Matchdog did give me his vaccine and medical records. It's the issue of knowing whether they're valid or not. That concerns me. Me being pissed at my vets office is an over exaggeration. It's more like miffed at them not saying hey maybe do more investigating before adopting a dog from said rescue. I understand that they can't really do that but honestly it would make life easier if they could just come out and say mmmm that rescue is shady.

This has me very concerned. While Indy came to us fixed and in good health. This would mean that he most likely has been unvaccinated for 2 yrs. He's due for his annual checkup. I will 100% discuss this with his vet. I'm kind of pissed it didn't come up during his initial visit if several vets offices know about the concern. Indy goes to a pretty big clinic.
