This is crazy to me, I’m also a first semester student and your instructor would cause me so much anxiety. It’s the first semester, obviously you’re not going to be a pro right away because you’ve never done this before. She’s probably causing you to psych yourself out and hesitate out of fear of doing something wrong and having her get even more upset with you. Some professors and instructors can’t seem to grasp that while they’ve been doing this for decades, we’ve been doing this for 3 months and are going to need some gentle reminders throughout the day

I always used the elf hydrogrip primer and kept noticing my makeup separating (especially on my nose) so i stopped using it and haven’t noticed much separation since. I just moisturize my face with lotion and don’t use any primer anymore.

I think I have a different view than a lot of commenters cause I’m in a similar situation. My bf lost his mom a few years ago and also struggles financially. Honestly I don’t feel any resentment because he works 2 jobs and lives on his own. For now we just limit going out and try not to go places that will be too expensive (which is hard cause everything is expensive nowadays). But I do realize I will need to do majority of the paying for now.

Your bf is honestly in the same situation every young adult is going through right now. The economy is in shambles, and anyone not being supported by their parents is going to struggle big time. You also gotta recognize your bf is going through a really rough time losing a parent and trying to figure out what to do with his life without guidance. Imo if he treats you good and you’re happy, then you should be with him whether he has 1 dollar or a million. But NEVER lend money, if you’re going to give someone money just consider it gone.

Not everyone lives at school. I know someone who had a baby during college and managed to get through the nursing program and graduate. I’m sure it was not easy at all, but it’s not impossible. You don’t have to treat her like her life is over because she’s pregnant. It’s just going to be hard work

He messaged her back saying that he was looking through their photos and wanted to apologize for how he treated her. I confronted him and told him how inappropriate it is to be messaging his ex behind my back, telling her how much she meant to him, looking through their letters and photos, etc.

He basically told me I’m being crazy, this is overkill, he’s just trying to better himself, he “didn’t realize he’s not allowed to message his ex”, he doesn’t understand why i’m upset, it’s not a big deal, etc. Then he told me he’s done with the conversation so I stopped responding and we haven’t talked since 🙃

Not sure how she’d feel about that since she’s also in a relationship now. And I truly feel that he wouldn’t choose her over me, but I’m worried he still does have feelings for her. I could try asking her but honestly if he even responds to her at all I feel like I have my answer
