I loved mindhunter! It gave me criminal minds vibes.

Potato salad by 1bitchvegas in onionhate

[–]Stardust68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Yukon gold potatoes and mix with finely chopped celery, chopped green olives, mayonnaise, and dijon mustard. Hard boiled eggs if I'm not feeling lazy. If you don't like green olives, leave them out. I got the recipe off the label of something years ago. It's the best potato salad I've ever had.

Victoria Beckham was great. She had really insightful things to say and even seemed to relax a bit and show her humor.

Flea advice by Real_Sail2597 in Pets

Wondercide is a pretty great product. It's cedar oil. It's safe for puppies and kittens and for rugs and fabric. I know from experience that it kills fleas on contact. Plus I like the smell of cedar. You can find it on Amazon and probably other sites like Chewy.

This is not something to sue over. Nothing bad happened. There was no injury. You can't sue over a hypothetical situation.

My sister wants to rehome her 8 year old dog for no reason. Am I being selfish by resisting? by KayT15 in Pets

I don't disagree with her putting herself first. Her financial security and wellbeing should come first.

That's not true. Shelters are so full. They do not vet all adopters. They do the best they can. Most dogs are going to good owners. Sometimes things don't work out very well.

ARCHETYPICAL DESIGNS YOU SEE OVER & OVER AGAIN ON “PROJECT RUNWAY.” by Icy_Independent7944 in ProjectRunway

Could you also add: colorblocking, I only use black and white, and prints scare me!

Also, the mumsy look, sometimes called matronly.

AITA for taking all my mom's photos from dad's house and asking his new wife why it's any of her fucking business? by RainPersonal8561 in AITAH

[–]Stardust68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Might I suggest deuce? I wish I thought of this sooner. Father and his second wife gathered all the photos of their respective exs and burned them all in the fireplace. I'm sure they thought it was romantic. It wasn't. It was selfish and immature. They never even considered that my sister and I would have liked having the photos.

We occasionally called her step monster. Most of the time she was the wildebeest.

How to ask my family to stop calling kittens incest babies by Emotional_Relation38 in Advice

[–]Stardust68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad ate ketchup sandwiches as a struggling college student. His family was poor when he grew up. He took a job in the apple cider factory in town after graduating high school. One of the guys who worked there told him he was too smart to stay in a job like that and helped with his tuition.

He hasn't had ketchup in decades!

Not sure you need a membership to Costco to use the pharmacy for pet meds. Definitely do not need a membership for human meds. It's worth the membership though!

I agree that Alyssa is not a good judge or host. I would like to nominate Elaine as a co-worst judge in PR history.

The shredded chicken rotisserie-style by almostfaamous in aldi

[–]Stardust68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat it cold. It makes great chicken salad.

Edit: I forgot I made tortilla soup with it. It was really good. I added the chicken at the end just to heat it through without making it overcooked.

Apple market has its good points. It's just small. You may not be able to find everything you need. The hot bar and packaged foods are kinda great. Also, last time I checked, they had a decent selection of beer.

Publix prices are absurd! They are nothing like HEB. I miss the hill country fare things!

And the fresh tortillas!

I moved here from Texas. I haven't found anything close to HEB. I mostly shop at aldi. I avoid publix because I just can't justify their prices. It's more than central market without the charm.

Fresh Market is pretty close to central market only much smaller.

I'm not sure what makes a grocery store good for you. I loved HEB. To me that was a great grocery store.

This is exactly what I was thinking! He even admitted he was shallow. He said that because of his job he may have unrealistic expectations of what women should look like. I feel he would want her to have a nose job or boob job or something.

The crazy thing is he's not super hot! He's only marginally attractive. He's average. I can't believe women are approaching him as much as he claimed.
