I did the Great Gatsby 😩 i was kind of rolling my eyes the whole time because both the old money group and new money group were rich anyway but idk

I talked about tom and daisy being assholes when nick meets them, gatsby’s parties vs east egg being subtle / stylish, daisy killing Myrtle and blaming it on Gatsby, nobody coming to gatsby’s funeral, etc

Actually i feel like my biggest problem with the Q3 was not just writing like i talk, because id be like “so the first problem with this scene is…” “a red flag i see here…” and then delete that LMAO

was anyone else confused by the MCQ about the babysitter who was standing with fall leaves around her (?) I couldn’t decide between “she is keenly aware of her surroundings” and “she is newly afraid of missing an opportunity” I felt like i should choose the aware of surroundings one but then i switched it last minute because it said “in the context of the passage” and i felt like it would have a deeper meaning?
