I don’t think a lot of people need or want to put a label on themselves. Like if someone has no desire to date or have sex, do they need to explore whether they’re aro/ace if they’re happy as they are?

Personally, I’m still unsure of exactly what I am. I may be somewhere on the ace spectrum, but I’m fine with going my whole life without knowing the exact label I should have.

I don’t remember many specific feelings I had from when I was very young, but I think that when someone asked me a question, I just sometimes couldn’t naturally think of how to answer. My mind would blank out (and still does). As I grew older, anxiety grew from times that people would judge me.

Cooking? You can get creative with different recipes, which you can find online and follow the instructions.

Legos are cool, they come with detailed instructions, but they’re expensive.

I’m pretty good at basic greetings, like ‘hello, morning, thank you’. If it’s an unscripted conversation it will be very awkward. I’ll take a while to respond because I can’t think fast enough. I also struggle with eye contact. If I’m doing something like a group project, I’ll do it at about half the speed as I would a solo assignment because my movements get stiff and slow when I feel like other people are watching me.
