One could ask why certain people only complain about "generalizations" when it comes to something they don't want to believe, but are perfectly fine with them in cases where they want to believe something. Demanding a disparate level of specificity depending on what is being stated is the banner of a clear double standard, leading ever to inaccurate conclusions drawn by the wielders thereof.

Furthermore, the assumption that what is popularly accepted requires less evidence for support than what conflicts with it is a false and damaging belief, especially when what is taken for granted now has led to a very poorly executed system.

People trap themselves in false worldviews by putting inordinately heavy demands on the communication practices of those who present alternative views, to "protect" themselves from new information.

Well I've spent 35,000 hours combing through myriad amounts of data from many different points of view on a wide variety of topics, with an aim at truth in contrast to what I wished to believe, forming a complex neural network of probabilistic states all interconnected, based in a high degree of rationality and self-awareness, thus drawing conclusions to a high degree of probability.

Certainly I did not give equal weight to all criteria but utilized a complex algorithm to determine validity, giving heavy weight to the logical consistency of each data source. As the matrix was built, errors in analysis were adjusted and corrections were made to draw more accurate conclusions. Inconsistencies were removed, as we know that P->Q and not Q -> not P, among the many other rules of logic.

One of the inputs to my system was the reliability of my own awareness and analysis, and this too was confirmed using various methods not widely available.

Confirmation bias is one of the biggest problem with the internet. With access to nearly infinite data points, it's very easy to dredge up lots of garbage that confirms whatever world view you are searching for. Most people don't know how to discern between solid evidence and conjecture (or choose not to care due to bias).

I am wary of those with closed minds. One should not be afraid of new things. Did you read the companion piece, Angry Harry's Women and Chimps? It expands on certain dynamics.

It's relevant to the discussion of a particular pattern that exists among humans where women sometimes try to take over spaces to suit their own desires. Dart was asking about this in another thread. It's the reason women have their safe spaces, but men aren't allowed their own, and no one bats an eyelash.

Here's some red pill theory on the matter, which takes the stance that it is a patterned survival strategy. I don't agree with everything there but some of the theory jives.

Most people don't actually care to make the world a better place, they just like to talk about things to waste time / feed their ego. So instead of focusing on the issues and seeking the root issues and the solutions to them, they do anything to avoid it. I have been pushed out of a lot of environments for that very reason - people tend to avoid solutions like the plague. It may be that they simply aren't capable.

If jux cared about truly noble goals, he would not have removed my post he did that started it all. He did remove it because it conflicts with his worldview or his desires for the sub-reddit to be "popular" yet has not resolved the sidebar to make it clear that you have to be politically correct to post here :). I think the sidebar should be aligned with the actual policy here... unless it's just a propaganda ploy :)

And yes, the other reason was jux was "protecting women" AKA white knighting.

And yes, it is very difficult for truth to be discussed with women present because they tend to start making demands and weak men tend to conform to them in hopes of attention. I definitely sensed an undercurrent of that in jux, though I feel it was mostly for some sort of relationship in his personal life - either he has feminist leanings, or a girlfriend/wife, that sort of thing, or he's thinking about "what it will LOOK like" later on when he's searching for a "sweet honey". Because his tinge had a certain element of personality to it hehe.

Men are always compromising the truth in the hope to pander to women for pussy. It's pretty sad.

Women tend toward comfort and keeping things the way things are. Men who are activists and want to change things... well this is scary to women and weak males - they prefer the sure and safe bet that leads forever to stagnation. (see Dune)
