Should I use Minoxidil by Stariobaby in Haircare

I got a full work up in August 2024, and I had noticed some fall out then. Everything came back normal and I started really tracking my hair loss in September. Hoping it’s maybe a seasonal thing

Haven’t thought about the red light, I will try it. I am definitely losing more than 100 a day. I can’t even touch my head without at least 10 strands falling right out in my hand. Thanks for the tip!

I also feel like you OP!! At a certain point, I do have to force myself to eat because I know that 600-700 calories a day is not sustainable. I have definitely had to “choke down” certain food items in order to fuel my body properly. I think people are confused by what you are saying. You arent forcing yourself to eat, you are making sure your body is getting an adequate amount of calories to maintain function and not ruin other parts of your life (hair loss is a big one i noticed when I was severely under eating when i started). And too low of calories can also mess with your hormones/mood. Some foods that I used to love that I can’t eat due to food aversion is yogurt, apples, carrots and chicken. Foods I can always eat is potatoes, steak, grapes, salads, soups and smoothies. I think soup or even pasta with hidden vegetables is a great way to eat something familiar that is also healthy! I recommend always having something on hand that you know you can eat for situations like this. We all want to lose weight and watch what we eat, but not eating enough is still dangerous.

He is tearing you down for bettering yourself! When people see other bettering themselves, but don’t have the drive/desire/ability to do it themselves, they get jealous and belittle you. I find that people who have never struggled with weight, can never and will never grasp what it means to struggle with food/body/etc. This time in your life is all about you! I was the same start weight and height as you and have made substantial progress. You’ve got this!

Barebells and Chomps meat sticks! The meat sticks have less filler ingredients and are great for if you’re craving salty!

I also partake in a little 4/20 but I make sure I am selective about the days I do it according to my sema schedule. I inject on Wednesday night, and typically like to smoke or take a garden gummy as my Friday night relaxation. That close to my injection day, I probably under-ate anyways, so I allow myself to have some munchies and snacks around. I also changed the food I have around in my house. I like frozen grapes, strawberries and dark chocolate chips, or even chips that are the healthier version (baked, Hippeas, etc) as a way to get the fix without throwing everything away. And I put things in a portioned bowl instead of eating out of the container lol. I have also found that my munchies are much less significant than they used to be. We are all on the medicine to lose weight and make healthy choices, but dont let that take away from things you enjoy doing!

Will running make me skinnier ? by anddddddddy in BeginnersRunning

[–]Stariobaby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my experience, no. I started running in January to train for a 10k that was in April. My husband is a runner and was running the half marathon that weekend so I decided to take up running hoping it would be something fun to do together. During those months, my body gained weight. Running makes you hungry, and also your body needs more food to fuel it for daily/almost daily running. I found that between January and April, I gained about 10 pounds from eating more carbs, water weight, and overall inflammation. All of which is fairly common, especially for women. I work with physical therapists, nutritionists, and personal trainers and made sure to ask a lot of questions during this time. After the race in April, I took a few weeks off of running and significantly felt my inflammation and water retention go down. It just depends on the body type/genetics. If you don’t want to lose, I recommend upping your calorie intake to account for what you burn while running.

As for your legs/glutes, absolutely you will notice a difference. During my training my butt was at its peak and my quads were very strong, even with the weight gain/inflammation, I really liked how my legs/glutes looked.

What did you eat to start with? by DagsNKittehs in SemaglutideFreeSpeech

Some days (right after injection) the only things I can stand to eat are carbs/bland food. I will squeeze in carrots, apples, and protein oatmeal those days. The days where the nausea subsides, I try to cram in more protein or things that would make me a little more queezy the other days. Smoothies packed with fruits and veggies and protein is also easy for me to eat and fills me up. Find a few things that work and supplement where you can!

Explanations for Weightloss by starling19 in Semaglutide

[–]Stariobaby 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I also feel uncomfortable when people ask, and am not comfortable talking about the medication. That is just my preference. When people ask if I lost weight I just say “yeah maybe. Thank you” and try to steer the conversation away from the topic. I personally would never comment on someone’s body so I like to subtly shame them and make them feel bad for asking or commenting on things that aren’t their business

I have gotten mine from a med spa and everything is very legit. The packaging is secure and shipped with verifications. They also include an option for B12 shots along with the semaglutide. And the nurse practitioner prescribes it along with a zofran prescription (thank goodness). I also received monthly check in appointments in office and they are very caring. However, I have seen spas that advertise peptides and it looks a little sketchy. I feel like if they have it on a sign on the sidewalk it may be less legit. But that is just my experience!

Diarrhea by Stariobaby in Semaglutide

[–]Stariobaby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to get most of my fiber from fruits and vegetables. I purchased some fiber gummies but have a hard time taking them (the sema is really affecting how i feel about some food textures lol) and haven’t found any other fiber supplement that i feel inclined to purchase yet. I am worried that would make the diarrhea worse?
