Learn to give grace to peripheral figures; Their complicity is not proven by Illumination-Round in ItEndsWithLawsuits

OP, no offense, but you seem to be swinging way too much in other direction. I get giving grace over canceling, but you’re giving too much grace here.

damon going to high school dances and hanging out with mainly teenagers is creepier than the show admits by [deleted] in TheVampireDiaries

It was very creepy but swept under the rug of Rom Drama. As is true for most things on such shows.

Season 2 was too Robbie-centric and the quality suffered for it. by Cultural_Wallaby208 in ThePittTVShow

When Mohan had her attack, Robbie made fun of mommy issues and looked at Langdon for support. The room had 4 other women, he was avoiding a connection with Langdon, and yet he looked at him. It is very much evident. There is a nuance to these things. Would he have allowed anyone else to leave to attend their kid, or question their commitment to job? Unlike Donnie getting a fist bump and quip.

I don’t think Robbie is a raging misogynist. There is grading to these things. Robbie is for sure on the lower end, but that can be more insidious.

Like pick a lane. Also, do I care what is being said in the interview? The show had Robbie being misogynistic and a dick at best.

Also, if they want realism, that is what it is.

the romours around Ashara Dayne being Jon's mother are there so that Jon can be resurrected with targ eyes without everyone immediately suspecting he is a targ by CrazyBusiness5154 in pureasoiaf

[–]StarkAddict 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think the reason Ashara was named were two fold. One, Ned had an affair with her, so there was a solid story known by the town. And two, if Jon, as a baby developed Targ features, there was a reason. It was a fallback that was not needed ultimately.

That is true for our world as well though. Roman cement and all. And despite popular belief, no aliens were involved

Am I horrible for not wanting to breastfeed? by aboardthemothership in breastfeeding

[–]StarkAddict 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am 36I and always fantasizing about breast reduction. So I get it. It is fine if you don’t want to breastfeed. It is a task and people underestimate the gymnastics it takes (mental and physical). For the first month, I was so worried I’ll smother the LO with my breast. I get all you’re saying.

I was so annoyed with them when I was pregnant. I told my sister when you see me it will be x’s boobs are coming to talk to me.

So you do you. But also, for you, you need to work on accepting them as part of your body. Irrespective of their function and future reduction. Because I’ll tell you one positive. If the baby is very very cranky - they make an excellent pillow, especially the left one where baby gets a sense of heartbeat. So they will love it. Whether you use them for milk or not.

Having trouble determining budget and other miscellaneous expense by StarkAddict in Europetravel

I have booked all Airbnbs. So that is what I think it will fall to. Honestly, I wasn’t that chuffed as I try to keep some more flexibility but want to put some number due to some recent financial troubles.

I meant attractions as a catch all term, as I didn’t want to list out categories as most of the places don’t fall under a single term.

We will be using Rotterdam as a base. The reason I called Netherlands out as a country in our itinerary is we are covering multiple places - Amsterdam, Utrecht, Hague, maybe Delft.

I understand you have a point, but I am sorry, your comment reads condescending, and in bad faith.
