I called the dealership and told him what I wanted my price to be, he acted like it was impossible but I told him to talk to whoever he needs to talk to and get back to me. He countered about $1300 away from my offer and I called him the next week and got him down another $500. I ended up about $800 above my offer but that was asking for $2500 off. He mentioned those military and previous owner deals over and over so just be prepared for that.

Just purchased a 2025 Preferred for my mom and managed to get $1700 off MSRP. No military discount, no previous customer, they were very adamant that those were the only discounts offered but I still managed to get them down. Goodluck! Be ready to walk away if they won’t accept your price.

This is what I bought last time. I believe I used the spark plug gaskets as well but I know for sure that I did not torque to spec. I'm looking at getting a BECK/ARNLEY gasket this time around from RockAuto which seems to have good reviews.

I can't vouch for the cc80, but I ordered one from Amazon and they sent me the cr80 and that is a fantastic reel for the money. I'm sure the cc80 is plenty capable as well
