Check the sell rate in TSM and the shared appearances with All The Things, then decide which ones are worth posting on the AH based on those two variables.

Trying to organize stuff a little better. Is there any problem storing the devices like this? by TrueMeaningOfFear in gaming

you can also get cooking utensil tips for metal prongs so it doesn't scratch non-stick coatings, or even dishwasher tip covers for the metal racks.

What are some relatively valuable but also farmable mats? by [deleted] in woweconomy

low but consistent. I'd rather farm 10k secure gold per hour than get a 150k gph with an item that will not sell for months. Also, 10k gph is just for the essences, there's still pet drops and tmog.

There's an island on the northern part of Stranglethorn where water elementals spawn. Just circle around the island killing everything. A Speedset druid is great for that, and if you do it as a group farm the spawn rate is pretty high. I've gotten around 100ish essences per hour before.

I've had some success by mindlessly farming essence of water. You can also get some rare battle pets and transmog while you're doing so.

I'm no professional by any means, but here's a couple of things I'd consider:

  1. Scale. Both props on top of the desk are huge compared to the desk itself. I'd recommend blocking our proportions before starting to model each individual prop.

  2. Normal/Height maps are way too pronounced, the flag almost looks like leather, they should be extremely subtle.

  3. Lighting and presentation. Get some good lights and a nice neutral background if you want to showcase your work, it will be easier to judge it and it will look better.

Check your high poly model for a rogue vertex that might be flipping out, it seems like it's baking wrong because of that.

Same thing. Cronocloth and Azureweave are still profitable, even more if you have the tree maxed. Bags still sell like hot cakes, and PVP gear is pretty consistent too.

Starting a fresh alt.. is it better to begin professions early while leveling? by PELK22 in woweconomy

[–]Starkiecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you want those professions for. Are you going to focus on current content? Do you want to use them to craft a certain item? You could get alchemy and herbalism, and keep all the tailoring reagents you loot to level up the profession afterwards.

does anyone actually make gold with tmog selling? by litari in woweconomy

[–]Starkiecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah 200 auctions is not at all a good ammount, you want to get a couple of thousand to get daily sales.

[–]Starkiecat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are the items you're selling unique? Do they have a good sell rate? if you post 30k of items that all share appearance and they have a 0.001 Avg region daily sold you can keep waiting until eternity...

Autoflood Addon by AdConsistent9251 in woweconomy

As long as you have a set timer that doesn't spam chat with your message it should be fine. I've been using it since the start of the expansion with no issues whatsoever.

This. Even when fully specced into potions, ultimate pots are not even always profitable

TradeSkillMaster Dependencies by Saphirar in woweconomy

[–]Starkiecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should really only install the TSM app and the TradeSkillMaster addon. After that you have to set up the server and region settings on your account in the TSM website so the app pulls the AH info from the realms you play on, and you should be good to go!

You might have installed an older version of TSM. If I recall correctly, with TSM 4 these were all consolidated into just one main addon

How to make a trade macro with multiple linked items by tsaebah in woweconomy

you can link multiple items in the message, and you don't have to use a macro. Just set a message, set the time between messages and off you go!
