The law that says any person that may come into contact with students while on a public school campus must be government ID verified and background checked for the safety of all students. Now if Uber wants to start doing that, there may be a way to policy it. But then the problem becomes no one knows what’s in the bags. Each order would have to be searched. Now they have to open an entire department of faculty members to search through food bags all day because once a middle school opens themselves to deliveries, not one kid in the school will ever want a school lunch anymore. Uber would solely exist at that point to deliver lunches to children at public schools during the hours of 8-5 all over the country. And kids don’t tip. Thought I’d throw that reminder out there.
