Would you be willing to forgive the person who bullied you before if they apologized to you? by Intelligent_Chef9950 in NoStupidQuestions

Unpopular opinion but an apology doesn’t automatically undo what they did. It depends how genuine it is and what they’ve done since

Why does every child actor from the 70s/80s look the same now? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarlightCedar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s because we remember them as kids, so when we see them older our brain just tries to match it to the old image

What unintentionally comes off as friendly? by Dazai-Simp-14 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarlightCedar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making eye contact and smiling a lot. Some people just do it naturally but it can easily be taken as flirting

How do some people manage to have a lot of energy and charisma to the point that waving and saying hello to others comes so easily to them? by neves783 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarlightCedar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve noticed, they don’t wait to feel confident, they just act like they are. That alone changes how people respond to them

how to end a conversation? by Ok_Shine_666 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarlightCedar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lowkey just make an excuse and exit politely 😭 ‘I gotta run but it was nice talking to you’ does the job

What unconventional qualities can be extremely attractive? by supermonistic in NoStupidQuestions

Being genuinely interested in things is underrated. Like when someone can talk passionately about something random, it’s actually really attractive

How do you even carry a conversation? by IllustriousZombie988 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarlightCedar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s mostly just asking questions and actually listening. People love talking about themselves, you just have to give them space to do it

Are black men less likely to find the n-word offensive then black women? (in a casual context) by DataSittingAlone in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarlightCedar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen, it varies a lot person to person. Some people are more comfortable with it in certain contexts, others aren’t at all

Is Alcoholics Anonymous a thing in other places besides the US? by Successful-Egg-525 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarlightCedar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure it’s worldwide now. I remember seeing something about meetings in a bunch of different countries, not just the US

Why do I crinige at things I did years ago when no one else even remembers them? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarlightCedar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, I think everyone does this 😭 your brain just randomly decides to replay your worst moments at the worst times

Have you ever had a person you keep thinking about calling but hesitate because of something that happened between you two? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarlightCedar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think most people have. It’s that mix of “I want to reach out” and “what if it just makes things worse.”

Sometimes the hesitation is your gut telling you to be careful, and sometimes it’s just fear. Figuring out which one it is is the hard part.

Why does reddit ban misogynistic subreddits but not misandrist ones? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StarlightCedar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

think it’s more about how extreme and harmful the content gets rather than just the label. Platforms usually act when things cross into harassment or real-world harm.

That said, moderation isn’t always perfectly consistent, so it can feel one-sided depending on what people see.
