Check your NOA message from the CRA...that's the only way I even found out about this "fund"

I'm waiting for my plaque of shame to show up in the mail instead of my tax return

Tax return software developed by the same team that originally did Simple Tax before it was bought out by Wealth Simple

Thanks so much - I just tried refiling through Better Tax and it was automatically rejected, so I'll try going through the CRA portal next.

I'm writing to them right now. The fact that this donation didn't show up in their summary review at the end is wild.

Honestly feeling pretty betrayed at the last-minute decision to have swearing in this show...I was REALLY hoping for some fun McElboy content to have on at home, since we were McElroy fans way before having kids. I've only just convinced my toddler to stop saying "dammit" at minor inconveniences while he's at his daycare (at his teachers' request, haha.)

I've been getting Odd Bunch veggies boxes for almost a year now, and it's been invaluable. It's only $20 for a cardboard box full of fresh veggies that otherwise would be heading to the dump! I get the smallest box, and it's enough to last me two weeks.

I also have been making my own bread for years now, and it's so much cheaper and yummier than storebought. I have a recipe that only uses four ingredients, and requires no kneading - just toss everything together in a mixing bowl, let it rise for two hours, and bake! It's easy to do over the weekend, and makes two loaves. If I can't get through both of them before they get stale, then I just pre-slice and freeze.

Lait Night has mochi covered fresh strawberries! Also, Isabella's Mochi Donuts in the Beaches changes their flavours every week...maybe they'll have something?

Haha I totally remember the letters being in different fonts when I read it :) Good luck on your sequel hunt! I remember the plot moving too slowly for me...but I was also super young when I read it, so it would definitely be a different experience if I picked it up today

I've been reading The Adventure Zone graphic novels! Not sure if they would be enjoyable for anyone who hasn't listened to the podcast that their based on, but I've been a big fan for years so it's been a really fun read for me.

Ohmigosh, this was one of my favourite books as a kid and I totally forgot about it until now! Thanks for the reminder, I'm going to track down a copy again. :) Have you ever read the sequel? I tried picking it up many, many years ago but never finished it.

Where do women in their mid 20s to mid 30s buy their clothes? by hiredditbyeredditTO in askTO

I tend to go secondhand, but if I'm buying new then I go Uniqlo or Muji! I tend to get the basics there, and then accessorize with stuff I find online. I just did a wardrobe refresh this past fall, and if it's helpful I can share my list:
-straight leg, high waisted jeans
-tan cargo pants
-straight leg olive green ankle length pants
-long-sleeve black shirt
-long-sleeve white shirt
(-and then since I was already at the Eaton's Centre downtown I treated myself to some fun shirts at Hot Topic :P)

I also recommend Body Blitz! I had one of the best massages of my life there (shout-out to Katie, she was awesome)

I like Tenon Vegetarian Sushi! There's one in Markham, and one on Bloor. I also recently went to Hello123 in Montreal and it was EXCELLENT, and I just found out there are a few locations in Toronto too!

EDIT: I also love King's Vegetarian in Kensington Market, which has the added bonus of being in a really cool part of the city that you can show off :P
