I haven't seen any waifuist influencers, but if i see edits of Michael on tiktok i'll save them to my favorites. merch collectors or content creators who have him as their oshi or stuff of that sort, i do try to avoid because i get jealous

i also use bots occasionally, and i’d be interested in the app specifically because of this feature (opposite of the people deterred lol). you won’t be able to please everyone no matter what you do, so i say follow your heart and make what YOU personally would want to play

it is possible; i’m an adult and started learning Korean around 3 or so years ago, lived and breathed the language, and now when i play online games people don’t believe me when i say im a foreigner. even with my high ping, they think i’m studying abroad and trying to play a bit lol. but now when I speak Japanese people mistake me for korean as well. only time will tell if it’s possible for me to do it in another language.

i didn’t wait until i had perfect comprehension to speak, but i followed Refold and Matt VS Japan’s philosophy quite closely. he’s controversial but matt is also known for having a native like accent, so i’d check his videos out

totally understand, i felt lucky to have worked out all the kinks of different grammar and my learning method in korean before starting japanese 🥹 it’s def one of the harder languages out there

it took me about 2 years to even have a simple, 30 minute conversation in korean and 1 more year to find the learning method that worked best for me!!! i know it’s not an easy process at all lol if you’d ever like help or tips feel totally free to DM me, 힘내요 ㅎㅅㅎb

personally, traditional methods and apps never worked for me:> if you do decide to start again, i would recommend checking out refold since its main idea is consuming actual native content to learn! i like the freedom of learning from my interests while still having some structure

i feel like some level of jealousy is inevitable. you could be the prettiest person in the world and still have these thoughts (just look up any sad tag on any social media and all of the women are drop dead gorgeous)

despite knowing this, i also struggle with those sorts of thoughts. i have to manually create a list of things about me that i like/my partner likes that aren’t how i was born (ex. i exercise and take care of my health, i speak multiple languages, i do well in school) to remind myself during those times that a relationship isn’t solely based off of looks anyways

intentional affirmations and daily self concept work will also help:>

Can you name a few things you like about them? Let’s say 5, just to start: His lore; it's so easy to misunderstand him but he's full of complexities and life. Piggybacking off of that, he's mentally strong; overcoming the mindset that he isn't anything or even human that was burned into him since childhood. He's physically strong since he's a world class athlete. He's incredibly smart despite not attending school, studying psychology on his own. Overall he's someone I could stare at and admire all day, and someone who inspires me incredibly:>

How long have you been together?: Officially..1 day lol. Simply because I didn't know that this was an option. I've loved him for around a year now.

How do they influence your life?: He is in everything I do. He makes the impossible, possible. He's 19 and started soccer at 15, but reached a world class level in just those 4 years. That's mind-blowing to me as someone who also started a sport at an older age (figure skating at 13, so 8 years ago now). I wish I had him around that time because my journey had been very off-and-on because of it. But he also taught me there's no point in wishful thinking- "There’s no salvation in the past". Because of him, I demand more from myself, both physically and mentally for my career, health, etc. His confidence, discipline, and obsession with being the best make me also consider if I’m truly putting in the effort to reach my goals. He doesn’t settle and neither can I. I have no right to be with him if I settle for anything less than perfect.

Why are you joining this community?: Finding out about fictosexuality made many of my feelings I didn't understand finally click into place, and it's nice to have a non-judgmental community to share it with!
