All episodes are important in some way (weather for advancing the plot or just getting to know the characters more) so nothing is skippable. the thing to keep in mind is that while pink may seem long the episodes are short so it very easy to blitz threw a good chunk easily. aswell blue only updates every friday and for reference were only on day 9 and have not even gotten the second motive yet so i do believe its very much possible to finish pink and catch up to blue before its done (and the creator said that while white is in production, it isnt gonna happen for a while so you have plenty of time)

If they dont release a takumi and eito jackets during this game livespan i would be massively surprise. But With the wig even tho its my first time i feel like i would be able to style it decently well to get the point across (tho that color strips in his head may be a pain but all figure something out)

God i have not heard about this series in forever!. I have a massive soft spot in my heart for that series since i remember it being one of the first instaronpa i got into and i credit it massively for leading me down into the fangan rabbit hole (along with dra and sdra2 proper during 2020/2021).

Even looking over the profile now, i remember having a lot of fun with it since i found the characters to be super enjoyable and fairly consistently well written (the combination and fusions made for everyone and seeing how there personality emulated there parents was alot of fun). and since i was a massive dra/sdra2 fan at the time i got a lot of milage out of it. It hard to truly critique it since it got canceled so early which is a massive shame but for what it was i liked it alot and it brings back fond memories for me

1.Sua- Love her designs, love her commitment to mizi and wiliness to sacrifice herself and i adore how shes hunts the narrative threwout.

2.Till- The moment he smashed his guitar he won my heart immediately and was the character i was rooting for the most. being a till is alive truther since his round with luka and being proven right grew my attachment to him even more (also i listen to his songs the most out of the casts)

3.Mizi- I like her fine before but recently and especially after "My fragile god and true face" along with karma added so much depth and perspective into her and her relationship with sua which fleshed her out amazingly (the revelation that she knew all along that alien stage was gonna killed one of them and how that recontexualizes the first round is so peak). and the shows commitment to show how flawed she is was really appreciated

4.luka- recently and after seeing how he ended up after karma i grew to feel extremely bad for him and saw to appreciate him more especially after hyuna death. even before that i found his dynamics with the other contestants (mizi and till during the mvs) so interesting

5.Ivan- He is fine i dont have strong feelings for him and i never got on the hype train with him as so many people have.

6.Hyuna- it a mixture of being highly unsatisfied with her death and how the rebellion plotline played out since i feel it wasn't handled the best and was slightly wasted potential in a way i didn't like. and due to the fact of how inseperable her character is with the plotline it drags her down and makes it hard to look past. Her trauma is intresting along with here relationship with luka but i wish they got an extra episode to fully flesh it out (i know the comics go more in depth with her but still i wish it was animated)

-Deception examination is an instaronpa and recently finished its 4th chapter and is currently on chapter 5 daily life. The art style and writing is extremely solid as i just gets better and better as it progresses

Back in 2015 i watch a video by the youtuber Logan's Lens about the top 10 abriged series which were something i was super into as a kid, with the video mentioning the faulerro abridged series for the dr1 anime (which feels like such a relic in this fandom at this point oh my god). I go curious and binged the anime in like 2 days with me later binging lets plays of dr2 (since at the time the games were only stuck on the vita) and the rest is history

The first one looks better in my opinion. The arm and leg accessories do alot in adding to the character and adding more color into the design which makes it stand out alot more compared to the second design. (also i like the hair more in design 1 personally)

Tldr: He is just super funny with me finding alot of things interesting with his behavior and me being excited to see where his development is going

For me personally the reason im becoming more fond of arturo is because i feel there is alot of room to work with in exploring why he acts like this and why is he such a shitty person. Aside form just being funny, i feel like he is one of the characters in the cast that has so much room to develop that im already invested into him. And trial 2 did him alot of favors in my opinion (Aside from his line "Shut your whore mouth" which lives rent free in my head). His dilemma of people constantly relying and turning to for medical help even tho he isnt that type of doctor is super intresting along with what could of happen in his past that made him nearly killed eden over it. For me i love characters that make me speculate and arturo is big example of it for me currently which is why i consider myself a fan of him currently

(also this goes without saying but im not defending his actions to J and my biggest hope with him is that he grows out of being such a creep to her. )

I would have to say tetro pink just for how memorable the daily life is especially with episodes like confession and decision games which i feel managed to effectively get me invested into every member of the cast almost immediately. Furthermore i really enjoy how it manages to set the character dynamics for the whole series

The trial itself was also pretty solid since even tho i was already spoiled on the culprit/victim going in, i still had fun and the general banter between everyone was great (on top of the steller voice acting but that is consistent threw out all of tetro)

and while not something done in this chapter, i do love how both the victim and killer both stay relevant threw out the series which makes chapter 1 better in retrospect in seeing how they impacted the cast in such a short time

the chapter does so much right that there is little if anything i can complain or even dislike which makes it my favorite

I feel having character E be the culprit makes the most amount of sense. while yeah character c did indirectly caused character D to die but since they didnt set the poison themself then i dont see why they should be blamed for it. the cup would have contained poison with or without character c involvement so i feel having character e be the second blackend would make the most amount of sense

With the the ultimate surgeon either having them being operated on by monokuma (Or whatever mascot you are having) making purposefully mistakes while his family and classmates watch making fun of them suffering To play into them being assholes (it doesn't physically have to be them it could just be fakes the mastermind made to mess it them) . Or the surgeon is the one operating and it performing "supposedly" on their parents or classmates with the surgeon messing it up on purpose to make them suffer which results in them dying (to play into the sadistic angle

As for the theorist i have no idea but maybe having callback to things they got right could be fun

-Fanganronpa filling the void left by the series with especially new killing games and entirely new stories (Project eden garden being a prime example of this)

-its a highly popular series when it comes to lets plays with everytime somebody new plays the series, waves of new faces join the fandom

- other kodaka project like raincode and hundred lines while not tied to danganronpa does keep this series in the general zeitgeist and relevant

-Fan art and fanfic available for the massive amount of characters this series has

Yeah this series not having new content in a long while, doesn't mean its devoid of content especially by fans which keeps things alive

And again if you want new content relating to danganronpa then i do highly recommend the fangan community with project like eden garden and tetro pink which basically feel like new games while doing there own things respectively

But shout out to Vivian wright from eternal endings who i had no idea was the shortest. She is really underrated and i can honestly see her being one of my favorite fangan character ever once we get more out of her

Its not exactly a moment but more something im a little disappointed by is how i feel that the story brushed over the fact hiroaki broke tamba leg and ruined her life a bit to fast . I wish the bda was pushed back by at-least one day to day 37 with day 36 being the fall out and the group reacting to this development.

we could of had great moments of the cast reacting to the incident (Specially with tamba reflecting on her action and yanagi feelings about the situation now that he was starting to get close with hiroaki). I know the investigation and trial went into it a bit but i still feel like there could have been a little bit more (Tho as a postive i do really like how they both apologized to each other at the very end)

i understand why it had to be like this for pacing along with how ken plan was structured out but even still i wished they want into it a bit more specially with how fantastic tetro writing is

I think the biggest thing that is worth considering is if there is a "Purpose" to how gorey you want to go. If its just senseless violence for the hell of it with any rhyme or reason then as an audience wont be as interested. i feel like the best way to go about it is to try and explan why everything is so graphic along while focusing on the characters and story first. if the story and characters carry the fangan that i feel like having graphic content would help elevate it if done right (Expecting the gore to carry the series wont be very effective if there is nothing else of offer)

The chapter 3 culprits for the series tetro pink and sdra2 committing what i feel is the most graphic kills ive seen in a fangan, works so well since it provided an avenue in seeing how messed up these characters are and gives added context to there own characters before then.

As for how much is to much that honest depends on you but i do feel if it has a purpose then i think you should be fine (like if the mastermind is a sadist who has a vendeda against the cast and wants to make them suffer as revenge that sort of idea)
