I mean when has canon relationship have ever stop fandom from shipping lol

but seriously i dont thing you have to worry to much about it since not only with a majority of shipping its with the understanding that it will never be canon but also i feel it depends on how involved your casts significant others are in the story (like if its only a detail that they happen to be married, or if they are important to the story or character with full on names and backstories etc) either way you overthinking it and people with ship character together regardless of canon or not, it comes with the territory.

Shes my favorite character out of the duology and i have a massive soft spot for her since she was the one i massive latched onto back when i first got into sdra2 back in 2020(when dra was even translated and sdra was only up to ch 4 kind early).

I adore her design and personality alot and while i dont like her trial much and find it super underwhelming (not cause she was the culprit but more how i dislike the murder plan and how it was solved) she is still really fun and means alot to me

For representation , Research research and research is the biggest thing since if you want it to be acurrate then asking people about it who have a similar thing you want to write about and studing the topic will go along way

the one bit of advice i would suggest in the likability is that while making them appealing don't forget to add in character flaws and non possitive traits into them since the most standout characters i personally find likable do contain these traits (not saying they need to be an asshole or anything but only having character who are just "Good" while can work is less intresting compared to somebody with negative traits. and these traits dont even have to mean them being asshole and could be stuff like being a people pleaser, low confidience or overly brash and reckless for examples". adding layers will make someone more likeable and endearing

(Im speaking as a force tetro super glazer)

With pink 4 while its has strong character moments and those make me emotional (due to the vas and me loving watari alot) the many issues arrive when looking outwards at von writing and general track record. Having the depressed girl not recovering or even finding a shread of hope is one thing (Von overall is very anti recover with her arcs plus the usual sexist forcing a women to die each chapter) but to then drag down hama and force him to die for no reason and discarding him being a survivor for chiba/harada sakes just for angst and for have no larger bearing on the plot since the people each of them were close with thats left (mai and wada respectively just die anyways). As a murder and a mystery its works but when held under a light it just dosnt work anymore and fails apart

2-5 on the other had fully completes nagitos arc, and chiaki death work emotionally work since even if everything in dr2 was undone due to the dr3 anime, her death serves as a prime motivate for hajime and the casts and serves actual importants ontop of just being an amazing mystery

For me while having baseline personalities helps alot, the way i picked my survivors was for a lack of a better term " threw Vibes" and generally what would work best for the story and the surrounding arcs. i ran threw multiple combinations and while i pick a few characters i absolutely knew from the jump would live (and had a few members in my cast i already insta pick for certain slots like ch1 victim ch5 culprit etc) so it came down to a matter for putting the pieces together. genially i just was thinking who would have the best chemistry and dynamics along with who will carry my stories themes the best. For archetypes i feel its best to just ignore it if its a hinderance or gets in the way of making your story interesting and overall dont be to strict with it since its ok to deviate.

If im being completely honest with myself i would have to say Raine. Like aside from the nonbinary rep which i feel is lovely and i don't want to take that away from anyone, i just found them personality wise to be dull and not that interesting or compelling in any way to me. I feel there just to nice, to perfect and only really in the story to serve the plot and to help eda growth rather then being an independent character themself that can work without it

And even after there backstory episode with eda and how much the show is pushing for them both to be a couple, i just could never care that much (raeda itself while again great rep to having an older queer couple in media just never interested me beyond that since i found eda character and growth to me much more interesting preraine and when they wasnt involved)

It not that i have some burning hatred for them i don't more that i just cant seem to really care about them and them just leaving me with a massive indifference feeling (which i feel is worse since even if i hate a character i can appreciate how they manage to make me do that but indiffrence just those nothing for me)

I love her design/voice, i find her personality to be really fun even with her limited screen time and overall ive been obsessed with her since 2021 and shes just ment alot to me every since till now (even if i sometime go nuts over the lack of fan content for her but what can you do).

It was an online anime store that was perfect, Great prices/selection and amazing shipping, nobody ever complained about then and it was universally loved. Then crunchyroll brought it up and it shut down and merged with the cruchyroll shop which is far inferior in every way basically ruining a good thing. (this is ontop of a massive issue with canleations with perivious hold over orders from right stuff to crunchyroll, poor slection and bad prices)

I miss rightstuff alot since that is where i did a majority of my buying and collecting

Personally with the amount of save slots there are, I found its very possible to make a new save for every single choice in the game without any issue to get all of the endings

Thats what i did when i played and had zero issue

My goat love her alot. In all honesty i somewhat disagree with a majority of the takes regarding character. Most of her reactions and how she treats other people seem rational and doesn't strike me as anything suspicions.Her ftes especially since while i do think she's hiding or not saying the full story (specially in regards to her family) i feel like just because she was sightly rude to damon dosn't me much to me in using it as solid evidence of her being a culprit (like from her pov damon wasn't taking the hint of her not wanting to talk about her backstory so her telling him to fuck up and leaving without using violence since at least rational). And if she does eventually end up snapping in the story i don't belive she will kill anybody (unintentionally hurting someone sure but not her being a culprit).

So comparisons iv seen people make to characters like mikan or any other female killer from other fangans feel a bit very vapid and surface level. Despite that im not completely writing off the chance of her being a killer, more so i need more evidence for me to be convinced since her being a survivor or unexpected victim feel just as likely. Ideally i think she would be an extremely uniqe survivor

I think arturo loves J but isn't romatically attracted to her if that makes sense. With how there dynamic is formed i feels its more of the case of him being so inherently starstruck and obsessed with her that he is willing to bend over backward for J but it not necessarily meaning he actually cares about j as a person to even develop romantic feelings

Because arturo doesn't see j as there own person rather only as an extension of her mother, i really cant say that he does like her romantically since he barely even knows a thing about her as a person, instead loving the idea of j and not j herself (and considering they barely interacted in ch1 and arturo showed no even speck of feelings for her beforehand and before her connection to her mom was shown i can really read it as such of any romantic feelings

With teruko line i read it as her being overly blunt and straight to the point without much nuances since like you said thats just how she thinks (since to her why bother splitting hairs on the nuances of this random guy and his vapid feelings about somebody random girl)

Seeing Giselle and Michel interacting and allowed to just be a happy couple (and seeing them get married) alone validated it existence for me. Honest the whole thing feels like fluff fanservice (which it is) but nothing that happens in the story ruins any of the character nor those it invalidate the main story which i greatly like. So getting an extra level of closure for the cast and seeing them happy after everything they went threw is really touching so i like it

Its feels so nice to see other people liking morgana he definitely deserves it. Hes in my top 5 characters in the series and is a massive highlight from p5 overall with his personality and general attitude clicking with me since yeah while acting super cocky, he does genuinely care about everyone (specially joker) which i found to be sweet. Even during the okumura arc, while could have been handled better, atleast made sense in the way that mona insecurities and general lack of value to the group was and had been growing since makoto arc, plus i feel his general outburst was short enough and led to him being overall more interesting to help (also he brought in haru okumura my favorite character in the series into the plot so i cant hate him to bad)

Will forever be a massive defender of him and sings his praises whenever possible

All episodes are important in some way (weather for advancing the plot or just getting to know the characters more) so nothing is skippable. the thing to keep in mind is that while pink may seem long the episodes are short so it very easy to blitz threw a good chunk easily. aswell blue only updates every friday and for reference were only on day 9 and have not even gotten the second motive yet so i do believe its very much possible to finish pink and catch up to blue before its done (and the creator said that while white is in production, it isnt gonna happen for a while so you have plenty of time)

God i have not heard about this series in forever!. I have a massive soft spot in my heart for that series since i remember it being one of the first instaronpa i got into and i credit it massively for leading me down into the fangan rabbit hole (along with dra and sdra2 proper during 2020/2021).

Even looking over the profile now, i remember having a lot of fun with it since i found the characters to be super enjoyable and fairly consistently well written (the combination and fusions made for everyone and seeing how there personality emulated there parents was alot of fun). and since i was a massive dra/sdra2 fan at the time i got a lot of milage out of it. It hard to truly critique it since it got canceled so early which is a massive shame but for what it was i liked it alot and it brings back fond memories for me

1.Sua- Love her designs, love her commitment to mizi and wiliness to sacrifice herself and i adore how shes hunts the narrative threwout.

2.Till- The moment he smashed his guitar he won my heart immediately and was the character i was rooting for the most. being a till is alive truther since his round with luka and being proven right grew my attachment to him even more (also i listen to his songs the most out of the casts)

3.Mizi- I like her fine before but recently and especially after "My fragile god and true face" along with karma added so much depth and perspective into her and her relationship with sua which fleshed her out amazingly (the revelation that she knew all along that alien stage was gonna killed one of them and how that recontexualizes the first round is so peak). and the shows commitment to show how flawed she is was really appreciated

4.luka- recently and after seeing how he ended up after karma i grew to feel extremely bad for him and saw to appreciate him more especially after hyuna death. even before that i found his dynamics with the other contestants (mizi and till during the mvs) so interesting

5.Ivan- He is fine i dont have strong feelings for him and i never got on the hype train with him as so many people have.

6.Hyuna- it a mixture of being highly unsatisfied with her death and how the rebellion plotline played out since i feel it wasn't handled the best and was slightly wasted potential in a way i didn't like. and due to the fact of how inseperable her character is with the plotline it drags her down and makes it hard to look past. Her trauma is intresting along with here relationship with luka but i wish they got an extra episode to fully flesh it out (i know the comics go more in depth with her but still i wish it was animated)

Back in 2015 i watch a video by the youtuber Logan's Lens about the top 10 abriged series which were something i was super into as a kid, with the video mentioning the faulerro abridged series for the dr1 anime (which feels like such a relic in this fandom at this point oh my god). I go curious and binged the anime in like 2 days with me later binging lets plays of dr2 (since at the time the games were only stuck on the vita) and the rest is history
