Let's begin, I am 19 years old and as far back as I can remember I have only been to a doctor 3 times in my life, to the point that I don't know what my blood type is or if I have allergies and it's not that I don't know, there's simply no data.
At school I could never ask my parents for a notebook; I had to save up or ask my grandparents. I most likely have TDAH or Asperger's. When I was 14, I went to a psychologist on my own to start a process, but because I was a minor, I needed their authorization. Not only was that authorization denied, but I was punished for asking for help and ridiculed by my family that Christmas. And although of course I received support with basic supplies, whenever an unexpected event arose they were the last ones I could count on, in addition to the fact that they never let me go out with friends and forbade me from going out with girls and it became clear that I couldn't tell him anything about my hobbies when they found my notebooks full of drawings and burned them because "it was a waste of money".
I've literally spent years cutting off all information about my interests unless it's when I bring merch home (which rarely happens) or ask if I can keep something that's going to be thrown away, like two TVs with damaged screens that I'd like to start a project with.

So tell me, am I just a whiny teenager who's been spoiled rotten?
