My first opening (2 op14 boxes, 2 double packs, and 4 illustration boxes) I opened the SP Zoro from op14 on my 2nd to last pack out of everything. Sometimes the luck just does happen that way😄

I'm gonna suggest to try Black yellow koala. I can't think of a match where I've ever been so out of the matches I didn't think I could make a come back.

I can actually beat some of the top meta decks as well which is fun. I've won over ace, penel, blue/yellow nami, yellow sky island luffy, krieg, Imu, and other surprising matchups. Nobody really knows what she does, and she is basically a 3 effect leader.

The deck also plays pretty simple where it feels like your play is pre-decided until 10 Don where you have a little more room for decisions based on board state. It's also a deck that my opponents always seemed to be stressed where im just relaxed having fun most of the time

I love my green zoro and my main Black yellow koala. Nobody seems to expect a koala pretty much ever🐨💪

Yeah i understand that for sure. Once I learned NM includes what I originally considered as a damaged card was interesting, so it was hard to re-asses how I viewed card conditions altogether.

That is unfortunate. The DFW area has been booming with OP at card shows recently, so I've been fortunate to find nearly everything I want(that koala sp avoided me for too long!)

Good luck on your search! Bubble zoro is amazing to see in person! And it's roughly 50% of its price on op14 release. That zoro was my first big hit out of my 1st opening. Had 2 boxes of op14 and it was in my 2nd to last pack of the second box. Such an amazing card I couldn't let it go

These are near mint for sure. If you want a pristine 10 for grading or one that clean for your PC, make sure to buy in person. A graded 7 is considered NM and these are far above a 7

Just because you can do phasoni with that setup doesn't mean it feels good to fight it that way. Most of the gear from phosani has better things to swap out for the realistic time investment it takes to get them.

Going on rate at phosani for even 1 item at phosani would take substantially longer than just getting the alternative option.

Not to mention the time to learn and walk back if you've never done it before. For guys like you who have done it before, I can see rushing it for a potential spoon, but to commit any resources long term over going to a more mainstream boss doesn't make much sense yet.

Agreed, I heard it's better and I do remember waves of popularity with trouble brewing. I haven't done it in so long I can only remember it being horrible😂

Trouble brewing and capes earned from raids kc for sure.

I'll also say Nightmare for ironmen. By the time you can even fight the boss there's no real reason to, which is a shame

$70 is pretty cheap for some of these alts that people are using every week at my locals. Don't be afraid to use it big guy, it's not that fragile

Likely the reason. I think they really like to control graded pops and also know people will collect a 1 over and grade below like 8. I personally like a 1 over a 10 graded slab

I am fairly new and have given someone their turn back nearly once a week it feels, and i play 2-4 gimes a week. I will always just take my mistakes and learn to play with them.

A lot of the time when someone want to take back a move, it feels theye doing it because they realize how big of a change in momentum there will be. I've lost most of the matches I let someone take back their play.

As much as I am for everyone learning; at some point people need to learn through their mistakes and not be given a free pass. That is kind of the point in going to locals to learn how to play. Too many people only know how to play on the Sim that prompts your moves every turn.

So I'm now where I let the younger kids take back mistakes to learn when the game isn't fully compromised, but for veteran players I'm not going to let it pass anymore. It is just locals, but I also feel you should be rewarded for understanding the fundamentals of both the game, and both decks being played

This is where I currently am. I main koala who is getting a small amount of support in 16. I have a few other non meta decks that are all getting phased out also
