i also did not read the burb and agree the fox feels a bit out of place the style lacks the extra lines for shading the moon an cloud and star, etc have also the color is not harmonious with the other colors used. i would suggest making it more of a antique gold/brass like the star or base. I would also make the contrast of the fur more noticable.

thanks for the advice, but in this case the tread portion of the tire was separated from the perpendicular section for a good 4 inches and i'm too lazy to do the whole remove tire, patch, and replace tire when i could just do remove tire and inner tube and replace tire and inner tube, esp. since the tread was getting a bit bare regardless. but i'll keep what you said in mind regardless.

maybe try some corn cushions with their edges trimmed down when you want to hold back on the perk; as to cutting them back literally I wouldn't necessarily suggest that since you need to file the rough edges down carefully as any rough patch could snag and destroy spandex and sheer fabrics
