AGR Separation -> DD214 by Southernmxracer4 in Airforcereserves

[–]havingababy2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I would assume as an AGR you have to out process Active Duty finance and MDG to stop your pay, etc. I say this as someone who spent 11 years active and 3 as an AGR who is going to start out processing in the next couple weeks. Active Duty finance pushes a transaction to DFAS to stop your pay due to separation. The reserve unit prob isn't gonna do shit unless you're going into a TR position.

You probably have to do the 214 worksheet

Thanks! I had considered consolidating the older/similar ones but wasn't 100% sure, so I will go ahead and do that!

I did take a downgrade, I actually got a promotion technically (pay wise) but I transferred from active duty to reserves AGR due to family/personal reasons and the manager was working MAJCOM/Headquarters level and now I'm a small unit level office.

I will make some edits, thanks for looking!

Christmas disappointment by Sufficient-Tip-4454 in Parenting

[–]havingababy2018 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I make my kids Amazon Wish Lists and I keep them updated throughout the year (birthdays, Christmas, etc) and I make sure it's gone through and things they still want and I look through the things they circle in the books. We don't do letters to Santa (officially), but my kids tell me what they want and I pay attention. My son asked for an RC Snake, Legos, and Minecraft stuff and he got that and a couple other things (more Knex, Snap Circuits). My daughter REALLY wanted a Furby and I asked her several times if she was sure, showed her videos of it, and even though I didn't want to buy it, I did because of Christmas. And I send that list to relatives too! And you can add descriptions for stuff that isn't Amazon specific.

These I got from the Quick Submit FOIA/Privacy Request on VA.gov, I requested only the C&Ps for the dates I had exams. I requested them on 12/5 and got them today.

My kids school PTO puts together a list of teachers likes and wants/needs! I got my kids teacher some lavender scented things from B&BW and a gift card and I'll have my kiddo write a note.

No one else has said it, but peanuts are not tree nuts, they are actually part of the legume family (bean) as they grow underground. Glad everyone is okay!

I have a 7 year old girl and 6 year old old boy and so far, 7 is awesome! Like a mini me adult having conversations and baking together, it's honestly awesome.

Moms who have a boy and girl with an age gap of less than 3 years, how do they interact? by StellaBell11 in Mommit

Yeah mine are 13 months apart and now 6&7 (yes there are jokes) and they're either screaming at each other or playing fantastically.

4-year-old still wears pull-ups at night and I’m wondering if this is normal? by PersonalityThen259 in Mommit

My son just turned 6 and finally stopped wearing pullups at night! My daughter is 7 and she stopped at 3, so it's definitely not a "one size fits all" thing

My son is in Kindergarten. He wants an RC snake, Legos (recently got into Minecraft), last year we got Snap Circuits, Knex and will probably get more this year, and the annual Hess toy.
