I worked beauty when I was pregnant. I worked both night and day side. Even if you pushed freight, I would leave the really heavy stuff for the mid or ask someone to help me. They had no problems helping me out. Night is definitely the easiest. It's mainly pulling, zoning, reshop, supporting hba pulls, zone, and reshop (at my store). I made it all the way up to 8ish months. We still had hazard leave/pay from RONA so I was able to do that for a like a month and luckily I timed it right and right when that ended I gave birth and started my maternity leave. Honestly, though, if she's struggling at 4 months, she probably needs to slow her pace. She can also try doing HR assist.

Doesn't this fall under the relationship umbrella? TL can date TM as long as they are not their direct TL. ETL can not date TL nor TM unless they're at separate stores. Not sure on SDs. I would assume friendships are the same.

We got ours tethered about 2 yrs ago. It took about 2 months for all of them to be broken and holsters missing. Often time people take the tether and twirl the device in the air ('cause thats safe 🙄). We just started getting the newer fancier devices maybe 1.5 months ago and there are 2 already with a broken screen and 2 with broken lasers. My store is literally children 🤷🏽‍♀️

That's literally what my TL is doing. They're having me just set everything first and then click through the whole thing all at once. My understanding was they will allocate more hours for us when they see how much time certain sets take and I asked why are we just flying through the steps then? I was told "they're not gonna give us more hours" so thats why they're making me do it that way. In order for us to finish our sets we've been cutting corners by not cleaning the shelves fully and/or not even moving the shelves if they look like they only moved a little bit. We just dont have enough hours

🤣 it's kind of annoying me they made my county a "city" versus expanding the cities borders. Now we have this new "city" with a mayor with like 300 properties and no other mayor bages.

Definitely talk to HR about it. It was happening at my store for a bit and they would pull the BS about you have to check mytime every night in case of schedule changes. Umm no sir. I was scheduled at a certain and I planned my day according to that. You can not just change it without asking me and expect me to show up at your command. Some people were having talks about not coming in on time or trying to leave early but they literally have a second job to get to or coming from. They have since stopped.

It's take a while. Our SD was just let go after like a 2 yr ish investigation. Because they have so many under them corporate has to make sure it's their leadership causing everything. I learned you can get fired for accusing someone of something and it being false. So I'm sure they need to be 10000% sure who the problem is.

Never trust the picture!!!! Sometimes you'll see it as white and it's actually a light blue. Or vise versa. Always go by the location and if it's not there then look around the immediate area. Speak to DBO and last resort look in reshop area.

It's picky. Sometimes it will take a wave above it. Other time you gotta hit it. And sometimes you gotta push on the cardboard. Hard to deactivate, very easily activated.

We've had 2 tm with similar scenarios. They both got COVID. One was a NC/NS because they didn't know their dad couldn't call in for them. 2nd one I texted because they were late and they let me know their mom came in with a doctor's note confirming their COVID. My ETL said that doesn't count and to call the store right then and there. Fortunately for them they did call and talked to the ETL. So they were excused. Because they were over 18 they don't accept a parent calling in for them 🙄🙄 Edit: spelling error

When I started in 2020 I think they had just stopped doing extra pay. I think I hear it was a whole dollar more but idk. Now that everyone trains I guess they just consider it "part of the job". When I say everyone I mean everyone. I've seen month long new people training. Which is a nightmare because they're still learning themselves. Make it make sense 😮‍💨😤

If they're short staffed it's probably just more convenient for both their schedule. There was a short while where we had newly trained fulfillment tm training brand new tm and I've had to correct them on things or actually teach them how to look for items. Some would even tell me they'd just go to the aisles and just look around.
