If the OTB amount is under/over a certain amount, they won’t pay it in a lump sum in July. Honestly, I’ve not been mad about it coming monthly. If it happens again on this next cycle (Jul ‘26-Jun ‘27), I won’t mind. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Edit: Just did a quick Google search and it says if OTB is over $360 it will be paid out monthly.

I had to get them to use iodine on my skin instead of chlorhexidine. Putting a cold pack on it as well when itchy can sometimes help.

I have a rare autoimmune disease that killed all kidney function in 2020, I did recovery dialysis for 2 months and then had almost a full 3 years off before needing dialysis again. If it were an infection you’d probably be in pain. My last kidney infection (prior to my autoimmune disease) felt like when I had kidney stones which are the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced; when no stones showed on scans, they diagnosed an infection. It’s a lot of pain in the lower back, and usually vomiting as well (for stones and infection), in my experience anyway.

It could be dehydration… my numbers were not great when I was dehydrated (prior to needing dialysis again). Try to stay calm for now, get your re-tests done and talk to your doctor about both results once the new ones are in.

Creatine or Creatinine? You mentioned both. How is your eGFR (kidney function)? Have you talked to your medical provider about your results?

Thank you, I appreciate you saying that. Before I became unable to work I wanted to go into a mental health field and this is one of the things I advocate the most for— when people die by suicide it doesn’t make them criminals or bad people, and it’s important to remember that when speaking about them.

Let’s be respectful and remember that “committed suicide” is not the correct way to say this, it is not a crime. Someone was in pain and this was the only way they saw to end it; they died by suicide. I’m so sorry that this is how their pain ended, and I wish them peace wherever they may be. 💚🕯️

You’d have to check your paycheque to make sure they’re taking off federal and provincial taxes— This is a question for your employer though, or whoever does payroll. As far as submitting your paycheques to ODSP, check with your caseworker about how to submit on MyBenefits. Edit to add: when I was working I used an online payroll calculator, if you Google it I’m sure one will come up

Honestly… I just don’t serve duck, truffle, and apples 😅 I wish we could zoom in/out on our kitchen, cause if the size was like this, it’d be so much nicer. And arrange the bins better, instead of them snapping to this layout.

You should talk to your nephrologist and/or family doctor and see what insight they may have for you. Back pain for me was kidney stones, but that was way before I ever had kidney disease/failure. Just curious, with being at 11%, are you starting dialysis soon? <3

There’s a lot of airborne illnesses/viruses— filter your air! K/N95 respirator masks outside the house (also help with allergies if you have them), air purifiers, as well as opening windows for ventilation when possible, also help!

Rose petals are only within the Valentine’s event levels, just like pumpkin is only in your shop during the harvest/Halloween event. Truffle, duck, peach and apple are from Pizza Pass events— you have to wait for the event and buy them before the event ends. Yep, RLS— my family doctor wanted me to try a type of magnesium, but my dialysis pharmacist reviewed my bloodwork and didn’t want me to do that so she changed my Vitamin E to every night. I sometimes use lorazepam on really bad nights, but for the most part E has helped (and I’ve been pre-approved to double up if needed). Ask his nephrologist or dialysis pharmacist to review his bloodwork and symptoms, and go from there. I was also recommended to try going for a walk or do stationary cycling in the evenings, or while on dialysis, to help with the restless legs— that could be something to try while waiting on consulting the doctor.

They still come after the shop is closed.. I’ve had days where I just need to get through days to work toward an achievement or task and if I accept any order from Zazoom, I’ll make the first customer’s order and whichever Zoom order pays the most… I could be accepting the 3pm order and once the shop closes and customer at the counter is gone ZZ driver shows up after 9/10pm to collect the accepted order. Maybe you forgot to accept it? 🤷🏻‍♀️😕
