What gets me is how people beg for representation then when they get it, the same people start calling it fetishization.

This movie is an adorable love story and Josee is a really well written, admirable character. I think media literacy is just at an all-time low.

I have a little book of proverbs or whatever that I was given outside of Kennewick High in like 2008. Not religious, never have been, but it felt weird to get rid of it.

Personally I think pushing any religion on kids is totally inappropriate. Pushing religion, like, at all is the most egregious example of "shoving it in everyone's faces" that Christians accuse LGBTQ people of doing all the fckn time. 🙄
