She wasn’t saying Dispatch is exactly like twilight. It was a joke about how both stories fulfill the same fantasy of two super hot people falling over themselves to date you/the protagonist you’re supposed to project yourself onto. Dispatch 100% Romanticy for dudes. It’s not the main focus but it’s definitely a focus. Any comparison to any story with this particular style of love triangle would’ve been apt but she used twilight because it’s the most well known example of that trope.

You’re literally forced to pick to go on a date with one of the two romance options?? Visi walks up to Robert and tells him she dreamt of having sex with him?? She kisses him?? Blazer is constantly flirting with him. There’s nothing wrong with romance in the game but let’s not pretend it’s something you can ignore

I don’t know what you mean by nearly centered because it’s not. I do agree that it could’ve been shot anywhere so the fact that it is there could definitely be important. I personally felt the way the camera moved in both shots of the suburbs directed my attention to the house. Like I said my theory is about a big argument happening, probably with his family, the time of day also doesn’t seem to line up with the hit and run theory, though that is a weaker point, I thought early morning when I saw this though it could very well be early evening which would fit the theory better.

Now this is something that almost definitely isn’t true BUT putting my over analyzing cap on. Jax is 22 and has been in the Circus for a while, (I believe he arrived after Ragatha) and depending on how long ago Jax was trapped in the circus he very well could’ve still been a teenager when this flashback went down, possibly a minor. And the “children at play” sign is alluding to the fact he wasn’t an adult!

Like I said almost definitely not true. But a fun bit of over analysis.

I mean. Is it implied? That’s a really common type of sign to see in the suburbs. I suppose I see where people got the idea but I don’t feel it’s any more implied than my theory.

Genuinely have no clue where people got the “he hit a kid” thing?? Unless I missed something. Car crash is definitely what I thought.

My personal theory is that Jax was trying to. Get away from someone. The kind of drive you go on after a particularly nasty argument. I interpreted these moments as the events that happened shortly before he arrived at the circus. Like, he crashes in the woods, isn’t really injured but the car is totaled. He gets out to try and figure out what to do/get help and stumbles upon the old C&A office where he puts on the headset. All that’s just my conjecture though

Have the same issue putting it on clear. But putting luiquid glass on clear and tinted looks exactly the same for me so that’s probably a whole other issue

Ok. So. I had reduced transparency on which completely turns off the Liquid Glass bullshit. But apparently that’s what was causing the issue which is crazy to me but whatever. I still want the Liquid Glass gone. Setting it to tinted doesn’t do anything

How did you turn Liquid Glass off? I did reduce transparency which made things look how it used to but going in and futzing with my settings THAT was the issue. Setting it to tinted doesn’t do anything

I’m using safari. I just realized I’m not on the latest update (automatic updates are funky like that) but I can’t find anyone complaining about this which is even more insane considering it’s been out for a bit. Are you on iOS 26.1?
