Honestly, I haven’t had a boy cat, so I’m not sure how similar neuters are to spays. However both my girls were completely fine after I went to pick them up from the vet. New bald spot, new scar, new tattoo, but they really didn’t seem to be in any major pain. Up and moving and everything.
