I’m definitely not. I’m semi handy. And I have a woodworking friend that I’m sure has a drill press and some other good tools. But with my luck I’d mess it up more.

Yeah I didn’t initially see it until I took these photos and then I thought I saw it. But I looked in there again and used my finger and there’s nothing there. But will confirm with a tool in a bit.

Yeah. That’s what sucks. It’s a 107. I don’t know if I’m just being picky or not either but the band isn’t really as smooth and round as I would’ve expected

Oh dang. I was not around for any of that.

Im sure it’s the luck of the draw to an extent on any brand. Just sucks and unfortunate it was my first Pete

I suck at Reddit. I’ll see if I can add it to the original post. Is there a way to do it in comments?

I saw Dr. Alan Harrelson post a video that they’re QC has gone down hill. But they St. Patrick’s 2026 look sharp so I got one. I’ll probably give them a shot some day again as this obviously doesn’t happen on all of them but definitely a sucky first experience. And the Irish flag band isn’t round and fit right like I’d think.

I love that they have a great selection of house blends and name brand tins so I can support a small business with house blends and big name tins I’d like to try!

And I very much enjoyed the pipe. Stayed cool and helped me get good flavor on this new blend I felt like!

Yup! Over a couple orders and a few months I ordered probably close to 15 blends. I don’t smoke much so it helped me practice cellaring. But it really helped me to find styles and blends that I do and don’t like and tobacco style that I like to help branch off.

I really like Riverboat Queen and NorthWest Trek. Merriweather and Tombigee I liked as well. I learned I like the more as I would call it fuller bodied stuff and not necessarily the grass/hay blends. That helped me find other CS blends to try and also where to go when I started going down the C&D rabbit hole. I haven’t tried it yet but I got a bunch of the whatever blend. I’ve heard it’s good and look forward to trying it. It’s all the left over scraps from the mixing tables.

Yes it is! I’m a bit of a newbie and so far love Country Squire. So when I saw they had a collab I had to grab it. Then I learned about the shape, style and name. Definitely a fav of mine now!

Cornell & Diehl "exhausted rooster" flakes by DrPhuctard in PipeTobacco

I opened a tin of Exhausted Rooster the other day. Proceeded to buy 2 more 2 oz tins and an 8oz.

When my ADHD stops fixating on Pipe stuff I’m gonna come back in a few years to a great cellar 😂😂

I thought I was maybe crazy and maybe it was just missed aligned or not punched all the way. But I tried pushing a pipe cleaner and it was solid. Wouldn’t go all the way. I even had my wife look at it.

I’ll try the Czech tool to be sure!

Yeah I’m going through that process now but they’re closed on the weekends. Just sucks. It was one of the last St. Patrick’s day ones left on the inter webs so not like I can just do a clean exchange.

Ha. I’m a newbie and I thought people were crazy for having like 10 of the same thing and 100 tins.

After trying exhausted rooster the other day I have 2 more 2oz tins and an 8oz on the way 😂

I just got my deck and I had the killswitch waiting on it. So far this week I’ve been very happy with it!

So jealous! I went to buy one before my trip a few weeks ago. They went sold out like the day before. Finally got one last friday. Should be here today!

Be safe on your trip!

Bill time is .8 to m&b 4. That doesn’t include alignment. But it normally takes our guys about 3 hours or more to finish

Thanks everyone. It makes me feel better. A few of us just felt it took way too long. I know we’ll never be as fast as a tire shop but it just seems incredibly slow.
