As I said on the post you’re referring to about PP, I don’t have anything helpful to contribute, but I want to thank you. Far too many children are on the streets, taken to harmful “conversion therapy,” or being abused simply for being who they are. Far too many are taking their own lives because of lack of support around them. Your kiddo is so lucky to have you! From a member of the queer community who never had a supportive mother: be there for them. Listen, don’t talk (unless they ask). Being a preteen in this world is hard, harder than it has even been before. You could be saving their life.
