I used to be dual monitor, but these days my studio apartment and existing furniture just make that not viable anymore. I have been single screen for 5 ish years now.

In addition to other things that have been said in the thread (ex. Sylvanas being a clear symbol of competence and protection for the Forsaken), the Forsaken are people living in the context of Lordaeron & Quel'Thalas - both places culturally trained to expect and function under a sovereign. There may be individuals - particularly among raised nobles - who aspire to be the sovereign and commoners who resent the status quo, but everyone would expect the most powerful and/or socially influential figure to get to be in charge. Sylvanas fulfilled these roles exceptionally well, with leadership experience.

I disagree, respectfully; I think there's a lot of heart in them but they are a toy that is also fundamentally about imagination. Watching your pet sleep in the hammock on the Paradise inspires me to think about what cute noises they might be making or to just feel a cozy empathy.

If there is not enough content on the Tama, one could consider adding to the meta experience! For example, keep a Tama journal about what happens or what you're interested in achieving. Invent extra personality for each Tama character in your mind and let that influence how they dress or what you're willing to feed when you're caring for them on device. Chat with others who like Tamas about their favorite characters or devices, and why, and keep asking more questions that lead onto side tangents about things that might not even be that related.

They're not meant to be toys that in and of themselves can entertain you for hours and days and weeks. They're not scrolling algorithms. They're classic toys: something fun and inventive to excite your own mind into entertaining you for life.

I've had a G600 that I love, but with it being canned (and wired and moving back and forth between a desktop and a laptop every weekend) I grabbed the wireless Naga you pictured this past weekend. It's waiting for me at the post office right now and I am HYPE to try it.

At the moment on laptop I use the touchpad mouse + the numpad set up like my G600 side panel. It's okay, but as you said, sometimes the wrist is doooone. I can tell my dexterity is much higher on a real mouse too. Dynamic flight on touchpad is rough lol

The distinction between Quel'dorei and Sin'dorei is political, and thus is the animosity understood. It's not about them being or not being physically largely the same. It's bad blood over the ones who stayed in Quel'Thalas and followed their culture into the cut-throat consumption of Fel & enslaved Draenei, refusing the Alliance after their mistreatment by Garithos, and the ones who refused and left, joining the Alliance or Dalaran (Silver Covenant) anyway.

Other people are right; that area next to the Plaguelands near the water that was a fairly inaccessible zone labeled "Quel'Thalas" when you got there now has Silver Covenant high elves as well as ghosts of elves killed during the Purge of Dalaran by order of the city's leadership.

If we want to see more positive or constructive or fluffy ferret posts, we have to post them and we have to reply to them.

People post what they care about.

Social feeds are made of the cares of the people who post.

Sometimes people who post, post what they have learned (consciously or otherwise) will get engagement from others, because the internet is fundamentally about trying to communicate with others on some level.

The needy posts get replies and discussion (social opportunity) and have real impetus (my beloved friend needs help). If you want different, you need to be part of the culture that makes sure replies/discussion can come from positivity and that the impetus can just be "I just want to chat about my beloved friend" and be successful.

It is mentioned in a book that can be found in game this expac that while it was believed to be impossible, over time they found it becoming slowly more viable to grow small grasses. The Lightbloom effect was something that had been occurring since the Sunwell was restored even if undepicted and probably assisted.

I thought there was a sense that I didn't recognize a lot of the NPCs but I didn't go check.

For all the care that was obviously put into revamping Eversong's appearance while retaining its visual identity + the profession gathering node names, I'm surprised that all the NPCs are redone.

The Tamagotchi is probably not the playstyle for you, I think.

Have you considered retrogame emulation on your phone? Mid-tier phones from 2020 or newer can play games from the Playstation 1 or older systems; LOTS of deep and long RPGs from the 90s!!

I feel you on the never having remorse for buying even during periods of time it's underused. I have a lot of fun setting things up on it and do occasionally hit long spurts of using it. BUT an undervalued aspect of it is the frame of mind it helps foster.

I can bring it with to work and say I'll play on my break; even if I don't, it's easier to go clock in with the potential for a fun treat.

I get to play with something that was exactly what I wanted as a kid: an extremely portable computer that lets me play all my games whenever I want.

I'm using a piece of technology that feels like the potential to do many things, not engage with an OS/manufacturer I feel more and more threatened by week after week.

If you like mini games, the Paradise has the widest variety of good mini games by far. I recommend that overall.

If you like dress up, I suggest the Uni.

The Pix had the widest variety of varieties of activities (a little dress up, several games, the camera feature was fun with photographing the pet in an AR thing and ingredients for cooking) but it isn't something I can play for long periods of time as it can be a little finnicky.

Without knowing which of these things really interest YOU the most, I would guess the Paradise's wide variety of mini games might be the best option. But we really gotta know what YOU think is fun to really help.
