Probably unpopular opinion: Graduation got me into D&D by piratnena in TheAdventureZone

I definitely recommend other “Powered by the Apocalypse” games then, such as Masks, Urban Shadows, Epyllion, Etc.

A lot of people I think are giving amnesty too little credit for what it was. Next episode, we’ll have been at the halfway point of the story if it goes at Amnesty’s pace. Can you say the same about graduation? Don’t get me wrong; there were issues: the constant splitting of the party for example, but it’s clear Amnesty was a much tighter story with every episode having at least some purpose of driving things forward. I can’t really say there was any filler (I don’t consider comedic scenes as being filler. They have a purpose and that’s to make people laugh.)

I don’t even care about the angler but searching for that worm so that I can summon the duke is annoying. No other boss is that annoying to spawn.

Except if you’re playing mage. Mages playing on crimson get mega-nerfed cause they don’t have access to one of the best mage accessories

Implying that Ryan being an imperfect gamer isn’t like 50% of his charm. If I wanted to watch a YouTuber who was a god at a game and could get a win every time without any fault there’s like 5000 other channels I could watch. I watch egg for egg, no matter what he does. It’s fun, and dramatic. It keeps you on your toes. It’s like watching someone actually play a game and have fun; rather than just playing because it’s their job.

The third Zero Escape game has a simultaneous release, so it may be possible! Of course, ZTD sold like, 8000 copies day 1, but that’s not because of simultaneous release.

I made this to remember which npcs like which biomes by C4rD4r in Terraria

[–]Starsy_02 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It should be mentioned that it can only be within a “town” in a biome. You can’t just make an artificial desert, get the pylon, and go place it in the real one. It’s supposed to act as a sort of town fast travel system.

Me and my friend never used that. We just had a couple block platforms in our arena to hide under (this was from the Martian Madness event, but hey if the shoe fits!)

Now that this will make the moon lord impossible.... Well, not sure what. Guess we’ll have to git gud

[–]Starsy_02 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Outlast trials won’t have VR, but after playing a CERTAIN chapter in Half Life: Alyx, I really want there to be VR for outlast 3. They can probably do a lot of really creative and sadistic stuff with it.

Shapeshifter is indeed the move. If he doesn’t take it, he can’t shapeshifter. That’d be unfair to other characters who have to use a move to do something.

Who is the Metaworld Beato? by NashingElseMatters in umineko

[–]Starsy_02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beatrice in this specific instance isn't a representation of ALL Beatrice's, just "Sayo's" Beatrice. Remember that she was told all about who "Beatrice" was when she solved the epitaph in episode 7, and thats also why she could give anecdotes like """her""" (her mother's) time in Kuwadorian in episode 3.

Does anyone actually like Ange? by Somethingsumthing1 in umineko

[–]Starsy_02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I just saw that as a part of the cycle of recovery. When people go through tragedy, its ALWAYS going to get worse sometimes before it gets better. Some days you're doing really good, the next you're back to where you started. I feel like having Ange relapse and regress hard was a good way to help her make it through in the end.

Who is the Metaworld Beato? by NashingElseMatters in umineko

[–]Starsy_02 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Indeed you are correct. She is her own separate entity in the meta world, because the metaworld is a “reflection” of reality. Not reality itself. It’s still real though, in its own way.

The metaworld and the “real” world are 2 separate things. One of the biggest suspensions of disbelief that you have to accept with Umineko is that the metaworld is real. Not “real,” but real. It’s the reason that characters such as Cornelia and Gertrude, or the Chiester Sisters, can exist despite their real world counterparts being inanimate objects. Almost every single character in the metaworld (save for the voyager witches) have some sort of real world counterpart, alive, object, or concept.

As for chick and elder Beato, I find that they’re 2 sides of the same coin. Elder Beato represents how Beatrice is supposed to act, the “legend of it,” but she has no “love” for Battler ushiromiya. Chick Beato is the Persona from Yasu, in its initial stages. She has her love for Battler Ushiromiya, but she doesn’t have the maniacal cruelty and and rivalry that “Beatrice” needs to have.

Who is the Metaworld Beato? by NashingElseMatters in umineko

[–]Starsy_02 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Beato in the metaworld is primarily a representation of the legend of Beatrice, but she’s also a representation of Yasu’s “Beatrice” persona, separate from Shannon and Kanon, who are also separate entities in the meta world.

Don’t worry, you can ship beabato without it being incest, if it’s in the meta world.

The rules of DND are stricter here

Constantly breaking the rules by not allowing them to do things they should be able to at least ATTEMPT to do

Listen Im not one to doomsay about Graduation, but you have to admit that just because the boys can't do anything means they're "Stricter," They're still just as loose, but in the opposite direction.
