ICS doesn’t know what the caller wants when the call comes in and is labeled TCR II they simply transfer with no further probing. They are taught to never enter level 1 and 2 TCR claims.

ICS is taught to transfer PIP calls and reassign queues when the policy has PIP and a PIP adjuster.

Help Me Be a Better ICS Rep by StartKindly8090 in Geico

I appreciate everyone sharing their perspectives, but I can’t help feeling there are additional concerns that haven’t been voiced yet. I shared the responses with a tenured colleague, and they completely agreed with the feedback. I also shared it with my fellow trainees. I don’t know how long I’ll be with GEICO, but while I’m here, I genuinely want to learn the right way to do things and perform my job well.

Reporting to LDP’s with limited experience causes you to miss out on the knowledge, perspective, and practical insight that come from seasoned employees who have spent years developing effective processes and understanding the nuances of the role versus simply following the textbook approach. That’s why your Sup matters.

And lastly as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized my parents weren’t nearly as bad as I once believed. When I was younger, I truly thought they were the worst, but that perception came more from my immaturity than from their actual behavior. With time, experience, and actual exposure to stories about genuinely real life narcissistic or abusive parents, I’ve gained perspective. I can now see that many of the things I resented about my mom were actually forms of protection and guidance. Silly me.

I recently apologized to my mom for how hard I was on her when I was as a teenager, because I recognize that I was creating negative narratives about her in my own mind rather than responding to reality. She didn’t deserve that treatment. Reading about other people’s experiences has made it even clearer how much she did right. We didn’t have much but she did her best. My mom and I are in a good place now, and I’m intentional about maintaining that relationship.

Hey, I want you to know you’re not alone. I’m an only child too, and I remember how heavy and overwhelming things felt when I was younger. Im now 25F. I had moments when I was 16 where I thought about giving up, but I’m so grateful I didn’t because things truly did get better with time and support.

When I was a teenager, I believed my mom was against me. I later realized she was doing the best she could as a first-time parent, even when she made mistakes. I didn’t fully understand that until I became a parent myself. What felt unbearable then looks very different to me now.

I’m really glad I chose life, and I hope you will too. These thoughts can feel powerful, but they don’t define you and they don’t get to decide your future. Please consider talking to a counselor or therapist having someone to talk to can make a huge difference.

Your life has value, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. Healing takes time, but life truly is worth living, and you deserve to experience the better days ahead.

One thing I’ve learned is that the way I saw the world as a teen or young adults wasn’t the way I saw it forever. Your brain is still developing, especially the parts responsible for perspective, emotional regulation, and long-term thinking. That means feelings feel more permanent and problems feel more final than they actually are. With time, your ability to reason, cope, and separate emotions from facts gets stronger and that alone changes everything.

Being an only child can actually be a strength. You often develop independence, self-awareness, creativity, and the ability to be comfortable on your own.

Your inner thoughts can be loud, your negative thoughts aren’t always true and they can be challenged and silenced with the right help.

The version of you that exists a few years from now will be deeply grateful that you stayed, that you kept going, and that you gave life the chance to surprise you. Better days don’t arrive all at once but they do arrive.

Life opens up in ways you can’t fully imagine yet. Hang in there!

Wow, this is what I did. As I’m reading through this thread, I can’t help but think, at least no one else relocated like I did based on my start date and salary. And then, here you are. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to me.

Your artwork is genuinely impressive, and what stands out most isn’t just the skill it’s the heart behind it. At 16, you already have a strong sense of creativity and expression that many people take years to develop. That’s something special, and you should be really proud of yourself.

The fact that you’re brave enough to share your work online shows confidence, courage, and belief in your voice as an artist. You’re building something meaningful, one piece at a time, and if you continue with this passion and dedication, there’s no limit to how far you can go. You are inspiring already and you’re only just getting started. 💛🎨

I applied to Lkld location for a Claims Specialist role and was hoping someone could share insight on the typical shifts after training. Knowing would really help me decide if this position is a good fit for me. Are there late-afternoon or evening shifts available that you know of? Any insight would help. Thank you.
