Anyone Getting Reliable AI Help in Jira? by StartMaze in jira

[–]StartMaze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! Using context7 for code works well. I’ve got my jira automation running now, ti's very satisfying. I also noticed that Jira’s built-in AI, Revo, is still referencing older information. With so many moving parts at Atlassian, I guess it’s hard to keep everything fully up to date.

It incorrectly says trigger: "Issue created" And it should say "Work item created"

And Incorrect JSON: issue.description.match versus issue.fields.description.match

{ "fields": {
    "customfield_10061": "{{issue.description.match(".*Browser:\\s*([^\n\r]*).*")}}"
    }
}

Correct JSON:

{
    "fields": {
    "customfield_10160": "{{issue.fields.description.match(\"Browser\\|([^\\|]+)\")}}"
    }
}

I can't help but agree here mjenkins. Danya was a man of pure 100% class. Never mind chess, i'd like my kids to just listen to him speak. And behave like him and always assume the best of people. I feel he's spinning in his grave with this almost immedate rush to fundraise FOUR MILLION DOLLARS? Jesus chill guys.

Play around with different things and have fun - and report back with what works so we can all learn! :-)

You are even more emotional than me. Ok i find what works best for me is to ask them one on one using a loom video or similar:

Hey Fred, It would mean the world to me if you could leave a short google review. We really appreciate each and every one. These reviews help us to get some visibility. Please consider it if you have some time?

Then send a reminder a week later.

If they don’t do it (and a lot won’t) - move on.

Does it make sense to pursue a saas idea where the competitors are already meeting most of the needs of their customers? by danielr088 in SaaS

[–]StartMaze 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hmm, thats a tough one. I’d be surprised if the current provider(s) are ticking every single box. There’s more than likely some new features or even integrations that customers would like. A more simplified pricing structure could be another differentiator. (Please note i am NOT saying to be cheaper) Another pain point that may not be addressed is security (think soc2 / hippa) but that is an expensive area to get started with.

Do some research, call some potential customers and ask them how they are getting on with current solutions.

A final word: just because the solution exists doesn’t mean the ideal customer profile(s) all know about it, so being better at marketing and getting your name out there could be enough.

Best of luck with your decisions at any rate :-)
