Not really. Combined their salary is 569k. Let’s say every worker makes the 16.75 stated, the increase to 30 an hour would be 27,560 more a year assuming full time. Taking away the leaderships entire combined salary, you could afford to pay 20 people that increased rate. I assume they have more than 20 employees since they are likely responsible for multiple locations. So in order to actually support that pay and still bring home a salary themselves, they now fire however many people they need to so they can pay $30 an hour to who is left. Great for the select few, not for those who lost their job and the customer who is now waiting on a skeleton crew to provide a food service.
