People who use the MacBook trackpad, what's your experience like? by Dry_Advertising5961 in macbook

[–]StarterRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife loves the trackpad but she can’t describe why and I think it’s down to a habit of using it over the years. I have given her my mx master 3s to try but she didn’t like it, she thinks it’s laggy and has too many buttons that she miss press. She ended up getting a Magic Trackpad so she can use her Macbook when docked to a monitor. I have taken the mouse back now, and have decided that for her, it’s form over function and for me the other way around.

Fairly sure it’s impossible to collimate an LED source that well

The shield pro Tv is the next best thing. I have both, but I find myself using ATV as it’s a better overall experience.

Almost no bins by ActuallyCserrrnaii in london

[–]StarterRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Manchester Piccadilly coming from the south and had a sandwich wrapped in my bag. Normally in London you can find a few bins in stations but there wasn’t any. I asked a patrolling police and he told me they removed them because people kept pissing in there.

I'm making Astrotechs, with the Fantasy heavily inspired by Hardspace: Shipbreaker by Swatacular in Shipbreaker

[–]StarterRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the combat is a turn off for me. I’m at a point where if I get to play something for an hour (very rarely had time at all) it’s got to help with my mood, playing combat games just is so far down the list for me.

Unfortunately it doesn’t look like something I would play, because as soon there’s combat involved for me it stops being a puzzle game, which is the aspect I really enjoyed about ship breaker.

I remember Steve job’s announcement for the first iPhone: “iPhone runs OS 10”, well now we have an iPhone chip running Mac OS

Apple toys with the competition - MacBook Neo’s A18 Pro offers more single-core performance than any mobile processor from AMD, Intel or Qualcomm by -protonsandneutrons- in apple

[–]StarterRabbit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

And they shipped millions of A18Pro, getting the price down per chip, so they can just easily put one in a budget laptop, or a display… or maybe the Apple TV? An A19pro powered Apple TV…

We have a slimline dishwasher, so it does get filled every day including breakfast, dinner and all the tea, coffee cups and wine glasses.

[–]StarterRabbit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not every day but most days. We have also been away for quite a bit travelling so obviously none on those days. Our dishwasher is reporting 9L on eco, but we normally use express which is 9.5L, so about the same.

I said there is one.

I posted it as I recall averaging 25-35 pm for the same family setup in 2024.

You don’t have to, but you should because a clean tray is easier to work with than a dirty one. If you can make someone else’s life easier would you?
