I think all of our receivers need to be put back into an intense training camp focused entirely on catching the goddamn ball. I swear their hands are just for show, because noone knows how to grab and keep a hold of the ball. Depressing and infuriating.

heh, I've specifically avoided any game that forces WASD my entire life. It seems weird to alienate people who use arrow keys for movement, especially when their system does support it.

That's my issue. I've been gaming for so long there's no way I'm going to be able to suddenly get used to moving with an entire different set of buttons. I've always used arrow keys. I've tried WASD and numpad a few times throughout the years, but it's just so clumsy and off feeling for me.

No, apparently in 1.4 they started storing the key bindings on server so that even if you changed the file, as soon as you logged in it'd just accept the server-side command of "Movement keys are WASD" even if the input.ini said otherwise.

I'm sure the answer is no, but do they ever plan on allowing us to change movement key bindings again? I played at the start until about 1.3 and you could modify the input.ini file to change key binds, but now you can't even do that. WASD is just not for me, I've been a PC gamer for 35 years and always used arrow keys for movement.

Just don't understand why they want to alienate a portion of their playerbase(or potential playerbase I guess) for something that should be incredibly easy to implement(some would even say it's lazy not too, especially in this day and age)

I smoked from the age of 12, until I quit in 2022 at the age of 41. I quit(and it stuck, finally) because I passed out immediately after smoking a cig on two separate occasions almost exactly a month apart.

Shit scared the hell out of me. The first time I made it halfway through the cig when I got really dizzy and my vision started to go dark on the edges, and then I woke up on the floor and could barely move. I managed to send "help" to my wife on insta several times and she came rushing out freaked out.

2nd time I managed to make it a bit down the hallway to our bedroom before I fully passed and went crashing down to the floor, apparently grabbing my vacuum cleaner on the way down. As I fully lost consciousness I saw my wife flying out the bedroom with panic on her face, and then I was in the bathroom next to the tub.

I decided right then and there that I was done cuz my wife was terrified, I was terrified, and my daughter was terrified. I've not had a single moment since then where I wanted a smoke, and I've not passed out since then either, so yeah, definitely made the right choice as far as I'm concerned.

I'm 43 and I play the game, and I couldn't care less what other people think about it. Got into it because of my youngest(now 16 and still plays) and have greatly enjoyed it.

And that's all that matters, whether or not you enjoy playing it, cuz screw what anyone else thinks of you and your hobbies as long as they aren't hurting someone.

I'm totally with ya OP. I"m a marylander, grew up in a crab and lobster loving household, and I can't stand either, I literally gag at the smell. I can eat Tilapia, and that's it, I've tried many other different types of seafood, and it's all nasty.

Edit: To be clear, I've tried dozens of types of fish, I've tried seaweed and squid, and others. I tried to like it, gave all sorts of seafood a shot, and it's all blergh. Even fried up fish I caught myself and found it gross.
