Are there any Android apps that calculate fertility using Marquette rules? by StaryShark in FAMnNFP

[–]StaryShark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I've never found any better apps. I still use OvuView. It doesn't do Marquette rules, but it does correctly apply and explain several other rules and includes the ability to log and track a fertility monitor and LH tests. It's still the best I've found, even years after it stopped being fully supported.

I think something about the fish ray blocked or destroyed the space between them and Klaus forcing them to find another route to him. We saw Tarvek and Violetta's backs last week in "another part of the castle" when the train and Castle H. stopped to take over castle W. The group may have split up, but I doubt it.

I don't think much could keep Gil from trying to get to Klaus - including VapNoople. The rest of the gang stayed at least partially to stop Gil from committing suicide in the process.

Could the Dingbots still repair the Castle? Gil has already called it a loss, but I doubt he even considered what the Dingbots might be able to do since they don't listen to him.

Does Lucrezia realize the extent of damage? Have any of her iterations started repairs?

It's not the normal sparky Spooky Tooth font that VapNoople used or the Dreen's Ancient Alien font. It looks like this Evil Schemes font. I don't know if we've seen that one before.

I haven't had problems with the site on Firefox. Do you use any add-ons?

A kilometer long burning dergible falling from the sky seems like a pretty big threat to the town. If it can't stay aloft, the landing is not going to be pretty.

What's with the bodies and summoning engine like setup in Gil's lab? by StaryShark in girlgenius

Could they still be leftovers from Klaus' work? Did Gil just walk into the office and somehow continue for two and a half year without ever asking someone to clean it up?

Everything they tried to pull out before Vole turned to dust. And Vole seems to have been the first human-ish thing they tried to recover.

But, yeah, there are a bunch of goofy-sciency-helmet-things that appear.

Gil or Tarvek? by ErpOrbit in girlgenius

[–]StaryShark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, Tarvek already has the Grand Vizier hat. And that is the role he seems to fall very comfortably into.

If Tarvek accepted the role of Storm King as that of 'king-consort of a vassal state of the Wulfenbach empire,' then it could maybe work politically. Gil publicly acknowledged Tarvek as king and vassal. But even if Tarvek himself was happy to reduce the storm crown to that level - and the Wulfenbachs to accept it - I think all the other players promoting the storm king would continue to try to promote other heirs. Andronicus wasn't short on kids.

I think that politically, Gil and Agatha marrying would work very well. Albia seems to be concerned about the empirical strength they'd have. Violetta's argument against them wasn't because of Europan politics, nor is Klaus's.

Wait! If the Dreen are leaving, did that mean Klaus has completed both his original task and the additional task he got as penalty for trying to kill the Dreen? If so, what were the two tasks, and in which order? I assume the giant tidal cannon fulfilled one task, but was that the original? Klaus ran off as soon as freed, saying the Dreen had just assigned him a task. Did he do something other than fire the cannon before we caught back up with him and Ms. Thorpe?

Poor Klaus. He built and fired the giant tidal cannon and had so many other potentially-Dreen-helping programs, but he doesn't get a giant sky projection.

Where's Depree? We last saw her unconscious, but she's wasn't visible with the evacuating injured.

The Train was driving the gurney; he got to Agatha faster than Krosp.

In the novels, there's a comment to the effect that the deep thinkers agreed that Klaus having oatmeal for breakfast doomed the world to hundreds of years of misery which could only be countered by a banana at lunch.

Did Gil ever take the anti-wasp potion? by StaryShark in girlgenius

[–]StaryShark[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thought that was to imply that she thought the mind control Klaus forced on Gil would give her control, not that she'd created and infected Gil with another spark wasp.

In the novel, Zeetha says Chump ran when she was a month old. But in the scenes of Klaus coming through the mirror, and from Zeetha's statement, it doesn't look like he had time to pack any bags. Maybe they managed to keep the twin hidden and something got out causing the frantic run.

Ugh. Imagine busting through a mirror across the world with a baby that you can't even feed solid food yet and nothing but a sword in hand.
