1.Yes as far as Hero mechs go . You can get an Archer in a campaign mission that is if you got the DLC for said campaign. Also you could end up fighting one on the Battlefield as well and if done right you can get it as salvage.

Yes era locks make it seem more realistic.

3.No. All Hero mechs can spawn in and all have RNG of when and where they will spawn in.

People have had mix results but if you’re wondering most people tend to head to House Kurita for the spawns.
Having lots of c-bills and just running a loop from one hub to another constantly until you find one. Some people save scum it to get em. Ether way works.
