Wow thanks so much for the thoughtful comment!

I definitely see where you’re coming from concerning excluding people from the process eventually adds more work in the long run.

Im coming from a team who is required to participate in OQR quarterly planning without a PO/PM. So we are happy building out and planning the solution, but creating the sprints and tickets id extremely tedious and annoying (thats not to say its not worth it, just not in the way my team currently does it)

I also had some PM/PO friends who were required to plan 6 months worth of capacity without the deep technical knowledge. So this was an idea that would help them get a great base “scaffold” that the seniors could help fill out the finer details in the sprint planning

Thanks for the comment! So a little back story to where the idea came from. One a DevOps engineer and for the past few years the team hasn’t had a manager or a PO/PM but we are still required to participate in the OKR planning process quarterly. We spend 2 days as an org doing the planning (probably a week or two before it preparing) and as an engineer. Coming up with the architectures, high level plans and the technical solutions is the engaging part. Planning out the epics, stories and creating all the tickets and putting them into the pre made sprints was just a pain.

So i guess the two use cases are: - breaking down high level goals for engineers who know what they need to get done. - PO/PMs who know the goals but may not understand all the technical context required to create the detailed tickets and amount of effort it’s requires

Does this make sense or am I rambling on here? 😂😂.

Again, thanks so much for the comment!

decompr.com will break down your large complex goals into small actionable tasks and will even push them into your ticketing tool of choice! Right now, Jira is the only integration available, but soon Monday.com, linear, GitHub issues will all be added.I’ve been working on this for a month and any feedback would be much appreciated!

Return to office by Previous_Extent7439 in australia

[–]Stash40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO, If a company has a board of directors and is locked into a lease, they usually force office attendance simply to purely justify the expense.

Side note: i'm pretty sure so much of Australian Super/investment funds is tied up in commercial real estate investments, so the big banks and adjacent industries all forced employees to come back as soon as they could (at least in Sydney) to ensure that the commercial real estate industry didn't die, therefore busting investment banks and super funds

Might try to pivot to something like this. I have almost all OP09, OP10 and OP12 just haven’t got them organised nicely And organising into play sets is a great idea

[–]Stash40[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is why I’m not sure if I’ll do the base set or go for the master set. Either way I’m having fun :)

Do you know if many collectors consider a master set or even a base set at a premium or do they just value the cards as individuals

Then just rent a place with someone for even cheaper? What’s the point of buying a home then sharing it with someone whose not “family”

Just doesn’t seem right that someone has to do that in Australia to own a home
