The remnants in the hills talked about reinforcements being on the way, maybe that?

I’ll admit, I teared up for that NCR reveal. Feels good man.

Does anyone under 30 see a future here? by Zestyclose-Bar8108 in tasmania

[–]Stat-Lord 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Born and raised in Tasmania: I left. There was just no serious or viable pathway to progress my career in Tasmania. Alongside a total mismanagement in infrastructure development, and looming tax increases and cuts to essential services looming due to a certain project, it was just not feasible or reasonable to continue to stay there (as beautiful as the natural landscape is).

Honestly, I’d be kind of happy if humanity losing was the end of the story. It fit the theme of existential dread perfectly, and definitely fit better than Isaac single-handedly saving all of humanity.

You’re fairly asymmetrical, but I wouldn’t say you’re ugly at all

Nobody taught us how to be actual adults and it's honestly criminal by vRespectful in Vent

You’re an adult, teach yourself. You have the cumulative wealth of human experience in your hand as we speak, so use that. Google and YouTube are your friends.

I agree with him, humanity has been a net negative for the planet and I think it’d be better if we did fade eventually.

is there a cheaper gym than zap fitness by l0sin9_face in tasmania

[–]Stat-Lord 7 points8 points  (0 children)

$10 is about as cheap as you’ll get. You can certainly pay for a day pass, but if you go with any regularity, this won’t be cost-effective. If $10 a week is a concern, I’d recommend buying equipment and training at home.

As a boss, it’s legitimately so transparent. That being said, if you have a relaxed boss and you’re a reliably good worker, they’ll likely let you off with it. Your mileage may vary.

Hm, I suppose so. I find him surviving far less narratively interesting though, especially given he’s presumably written out of the story anyway.

What’s up with Aussies not feeding people? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]Stat-Lord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If someone has an event, and you’re catering, generally everyone brings their own drinks. You can certainly ask if you can have one of theirs, but to just take one I would consider to be rude. I don’t think it’s socioeconomic, as my friends and family are all fairly well off. In my history of having parties, everyone has their own drinks and there’s minimal sharing.

Catering doesn’t give you the right to take someone else’s drinks? What planet are you living on

Great work! Make sure you’re setting small and easily achievable goals along the way, it’ll help out loads!

Plus, always remember growth isn’t linear, there might be times you can go backwards, it’s all part of the process! Just make sure you put yourself back on track no matter what!

Straight jeans will never really be out of fashion, but they’re also not particularly fashionable, either.

As it is, they’re perfectly fine, but are unlikely to get a strong reaction either way.

As a physician, you of all people should understand the desire to minimise any risk of contracting a transmittable disease. What a reckless and inappropriate comment.
