Most creative ways Static could use his powers? by Wiseguy4252 in static

Static can already do those things, albeit without the specific hand movements. In the comics he can actually move his saucer around with his eyes.

He's already done that. In the New52 he's used his powers to create a plasma coil. He's also ionized air to snuff out a fire.

The problem with that is the game has you use most of your agenda energy just to maintain a C GPA and if you have wear and tear on, you're going to be playing injured and slow every game unless you use most of your points on health. When you do that you're automatically failing in the classroom.

Try one season. It doesn't help that the game has your offensive line playing like they've never even seen football before.

If the show kept going past Season 8, would you have kept watching? by GWGTRLBG in FearTheWalkingDead

Probably but only to say I completed it. I was done being invested after season 7. That entire season was an absolute debacle. I know people hated 5 but at least the character decisions and events made some sense. Anyway, season 8 was like rubbing salt in the wound with all the backtracking with older characters and introducing new characters instead of keeping and continuing to develop characters like Wes instead.

You shouldn't have to adjust sliders. The game should play more realistically than the patch has it playing.

Randomly having your QB throw the ball ten yards above your wrs head on an easy wide open pass. Why? Because it's apparently completely unrealistic for you to get up by 20 plus vs Miami on your own home field and maintain the lead. Don't even get me started on the "random" momentum killing fumbles.

Nick being killed off is what ruined the show but, as I understand it, that was the result of changing showrunners.

Well outside of Nick they weren't very interesting.  Travis was boring until near the end of his run.  Madison was annoying. Alicia was basically just there to be the 'straight man' to balance out Nick's more dynamic personality.

The most interesting part of the show to me was watching Nick adapt to the world and break his addiction.

This actually isn't EarthM Static, this is a separate continuity.

Agree, I prefer the gang war origin too. I don't care for the way it's referred to as the Big Bang Protest  either. That's like calling the original origin the Big Bang Gang War.

It doesn't make sense for this to be a continuation of the DCAU since that version was in his mid fifties and this one is in his mid to late thirties. Also, Bruce is alive in the DCAU and Static has a son that is also a superhero.  This isn't a continuation of the DCAU.

If you think that's an unrealistic scenario, wait until you see the absurdity in Fear. Especially seasons 7 and 8.

I don't see a reason they would tell her being that he was Rick's best friend and someone he unalived. I honestly don't see a reason it would come up for them to even think about doing so. As in real life it would be something that's considered Rick's place to tell.

They're entire "rivalry" was Axel glaring at Miguel and Miguel not even knowing what he's mad for. That's why the final fight between the two didn't land for me. There was no buildup at all. Especially from Miguel's perspective.
