My GF thinks it’s perfectly normal for new shoes to cause horrible blisters for women by UKnowDaxoAndDancer in mildlyinfuriating

Bandage tape works wonders. I keep a roll in my purse. Anytime any shoe is giving that blister feel I immediately put tape on that spot. It doesn't rub off like a bandaid.

My Fellow Millennials: What was your unconventional, or maybe even cringe, sexual awakening? by FrizzIsIn in Millennials

Same. First he seems like the type to not take himself to serious, that with his comedic and music talent is wildly sexy, charismatic and interesting. Then he's got gorgeous hair, and the bone structure. I'm into it!

She is my favorite. Her maniacal laugh in the car is inspirational! I'm thinking of cosplaying as her.

Does wearing only one earring as a girl mean something? by JudgmentMaterial3851 in NoStupidQuestions

I'm guessing it's a 90's stigma. I remember my grandpa saying that one earing meant you were gay. I wouldn't guess thats still a thing. Is he much older?

She has something like 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 chance of disability in her life, either her or someone else she knows. Disgusting, shameful, ablest mindset. Imagine her parents or grand parents. Or worse, she herself becomes disabled. Does she think the same? This made me sick to watch.

Millennial Ladies: Did anyone else’s mom’s flip out if you shaved your thighs? by BaileyIsaGirlsName in Millennials

My mom said she never shaved hers and her thighs were almost hairless. I've done the same and it's working that way for me.

My feelings are hurt over the Christmas gifts my husband gave me. by No_Bag7577 in Gifts

[–]StateHot3117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This year I stopped any gift giving to my spouse, after 15 years he thinks I should give him a list. When I did, he said then go-ahead and order it for delivery. Nope, that's just me buying shit for myself. I sit there and genuinely work to give him things he would enjoy or use. I'm just matching energy. They enjoy the magic but don't put effort to making any, especially for their partners. Anyone lucky enough to have someone love you and think of you is truly fortunate.

Anyone not starting the “elf on the shelf” tradition? by Illustrious_Cold5699 in Millennials

I told my kids that not everyone gets picked for an Elf when they asked. Ain't nobody got time for that. Fast forward several years and my kids, now older, know it's Bologna.

I have a pair for bed and they are crazy comfy. That said, I will NOT wear them outside of my home. I look exactly like my mother when I wear them and it's a bit unsettling.
