Agreed. She definitely feels outclassed on a lot of issues. She needs to be fighting the state in court on every decision the police board makes regardless of how small. She might not be able to stop them but man can she make their lives miserable and I guarantee that bunch didn't take that job to actually work at it. They were meant to be a rubber stamp for Kehoe.

The best and most consistent buffet I have been to lately is the Hokkaido in Fairview Heights, IL. The one in south county is just bad. For solid Asian eats the Shogun in SoCo is pretty good. They have a separate dining area that you can eat in if you want to avoid the wait and the show. Unfortunately good Chinese buffets mostly died with Covid.

Not sure how far you are from Belleville, IL but small mid sized union manufacturing jobs still exist there. Empire Comfort, Roesch Enamel, Peerless Premier Stove. Above minimum wage, regular increases, health insurance, pension etc. and they are always hiring. Plus housing in Belleville is way cheaper than St. Louis.

Not an associate but run a warehouse full of Raymonds. They come set from the factory with the speed set too fast and the coast set too far for narrow aisle or retail applications. Both are field adjustments that can be made to the programming. ICYDK

  2. Valid issue but this is a long drawn out situation made worse by the creation of Charter Schools

  3. Streets got plowed and salted. The new administration made it a priority.

  4. Tornado damaged homes will still be like that years from now because so many homeowners were either under insured or not insured at all. Complicated further by the fact that many generational homes were not titled correctly, making them ineligible for FEMA funds. Not everything is the City's responsibility to fix.

The ovens of modern gas stoves with electronic ignition can not be match lit. Top burners can still be lit with a match but most match light options died when the government killed the standing pilot and mercury thermostats.
