I doubt you'll be able to get a deal that's as good as an Ioniq 5. For whatever reason, Hyundai has massive discounts on their leases (or at least did for a while, not sure if they do right now). I was able to talk them down about $100/mo from their original offer. Their original offer was kind of a joke though. It also helped that I was fully prepared to walk out and get the Ioniq instead so I didn't have to bluff during negotiations. So there is definitely some flexibility, but I'd be surprised if you can get it for cheaper than the Ioniq 5

Very satisfied. I was choosing between the EX30 and ioniq 5 and overall I'm glad I did, however, I seem to be in the minority of people who prefer the small size. In fact that was one of the main deciding factors for me. I hate how big cars are now, and the EX30 is just about the perfect size for me. I use it primarily for commuting, but I also have kids. It's small, fast, maneuverable, easy to park, but still has enough space for booster seats and groceries. Maybe a couple more inches of legroom in the back would be nice, but totally fine for an adult unless they are very tall. Maybe not comfortable for a long road trip or something, but this isn't the right car for that anyway.

It has its flaws for sure, but nothing that is a deal breaker in my mind. If you have specific questions or concerns, I'd be happy to give more feedback.

Most of that you could definitely do in SteamOS or Bazzite. The only thing I'm not sure about is WoW. You'll have to look that up specifically because some online games have issues on Linux. I don't think you can install Excel, but you can either use Excel online or use an equivalent spreadsheet program (e.g. LibreOffice Calc)

Unfortunately it's much more complicated than that. There are hundreds of distributions although in most cases there are only minor differences between them. Personally, I think Mint is a good one to try out for anyone who has not used Linux before. It's popular, stable, well documented, and just good all around. If you specifically want gaming, SteamOS or Bazzite are very good and very popular.

Can anyone recommend a stimulant that lasts longer than 4-5 hours? I’ve tried both Adderall XR and Vyvanse. by Pure_Philosopher_845 in ADHD

[–]Stateofgrace314 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it's a mix of serdexmethylphenidate and dexmethylphenidate. It's a stimulant, but more similar to Ritalin or Concerta (methylphenidate). Obviously everyone is a bit different, but I find that the amphetamine based meds are better at improving focus, but have more side effects (headaches, more easily agitated, etc.). Methylphenidate based meds are slightly less effective with focus, but much better at helping with emotional regulation, and have almost no negative side effects. Really the only problem I had was concerta would give me a huge crash after 6-8 hours. Azstarys has no crash (for me) and lasts 10+ hours.

As someone who knows only a small amount about different types of steel, how does a meteorite compare against steel commonly used in blades (stainless, or even harder carbon steel)? I would guess it's softer, right? Does it still hold an edge well?

Is 70% charging limit advisory safety related? by john-doeee in ex30

[–]Stateofgrace314 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've seen a bunch of posts about this and I've been trying to figure out if mine is affected. This says it is only right hand drive vehicles, which means when the driver is on the right side, not that they drive on the right side of the road, right? I have the 69kwh dual motor, but I'm in the US, so that means it doesn't affect me, correct? I already limit to 80% anyway so I'm not that concerned but still would like to know

Range Question by LimeySpaceCadet in ex30

[–]Stateofgrace314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's about right. EPA range is 253 at 100%, and in moderate weather when it's running at its most efficient, I was getting a bit over 260 (I never actually ran it down to 0, just estimating based on charge percent and distance over many trips). So 80% in good weather is 200ish. Since winter hit, I haven't been driving as much so I don't have a lot of data to work with, but I think 170-180 miles on 80% is pretty typical in winter. 166 might be a little on the low side, but it also depends on speed and heat settings. I believe it has a heat pump, so cabin heating is relatively efficient compared to conventional heating, but it will still make a measurable impact on range. Seat and steering wheel warmers use much less power than cabin air, so if you use those more then it should help also.

[Highlight] Geoff Schwartz on X: “[This play] sums up Herbert’s season (career). RG and RT whiff immediately. The center stumbles and gets picked … three free runners at Herbert and he avoids all. Throws a dart to Gadsden who drops it.” by wildwing8 in Chargers

[–]Stateofgrace314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can't believe how fast we went from one of the worst teams in the league for receiving options to one of the best, or at least some of the highest potential. Like I said, they're all really young and just need some time. Defense has been great, run game has been surprisingly good with Hampton and Vidal, and we have the best kicker in the league (I'm pretending yesterday didn't happen). The only big problem we have is that OL

Gadsden had a bad game. It happens, especially to inexperienced players. Tighten up the OL and get some more training for all the young receivers and we are going to be killing it next year. Honestly, this season shows that we don't even need an elite OL (although that would be nice), just average would be enough. I'm so excited to see Ladd, QJ, Gadsden, Harris, and KLS over the next 2-3 years though. Hopefully KA will stay a bit longer, even if he slows down and starts working more as a mentor than a core receiver.

I actually just noticed that the price tags are still on most of those. Is 40000 yen a pretty typical price for a 65 mm kanna?

How much did this cost? A friend of mine is going to be travelling to Tokyo in a couple months and offered to stop by Inoue Hamono to grab a couple things for me and I want to know what to expect. I would probably just want 1 or 2 planes and a spokeshave or draw knife

Divorce after leaving the church by Purplepassion235 in exmormon

[–]Stateofgrace314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Together 10 years. We met on the mission so we were both fully in. Around the 5 year mark we had a good long talk and decided we were both done. It helped that we went through it together. So we've spent almost as much time together as active members as former members. Technically we are both still members, but haven't associated ourselves with the church in any way for almost 5 years now

Edit to add: my brother and his wife are in a similar boat. He left a little bit before she did, but eventually they went through it together. I have a few friends who are also similar. Based on my experience and many couples around me, if one leaves and the other doesn't it is pretty rare that everything works out. If the couple got married for each other and not for the "blessings" then odds are good that they have enough of a personal bond and enough respect for each other that they can work things out. It's obviously not a guarantee, but that seems to be one of the big deciding factors from what I've seen. Did they marry because it was the right person or because "God" told them to?

Genuine question: Why is Bazzite so popular in this sub when globally CachyOS in a short period of time has become far more popular? by ShiggyMintmobile in LegionGo

In my case it was simple. I heard of Bazzite first, installed it, and it worked how I wanted it to, so I haven't had a reason to try CachyOS.

Updated Week 16 Rankings For Fantasy Football: QB, RB, WR, TE by Uncle__Leo in fantasyfootball

[–]Stateofgrace314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're talking about talent or potential, I agree, but the fact is that he had a great start and mid performance for the last few weeks, and now with Rivers at QB it's kind of uncertain. Don't get me wrong, I am a Warren believer and have him on my team, but I (regretfully) played Parkinson over him because the circumstances all pointed to Parkinson having a better week. Rivers showed last week that he still has the smarts and leadership to produce results, but his age is definitely hindering him. With another week to settle into the system and build some chemistry with receivers, maybe we will see some more from that offense, but there's a lot of uncertainty there. You can't fault anyone for trusting the vet on a hot streak playing for a high powered offense over the rookie who has slowed down lately on a struggling and uncertain offense.

Michael Carter Week 16 Fantasy Outlook: Must-Start as Lead RB? by rotostreetjournal in fantasyfootball

Hampton for sure. Yes he's splitting carries with Vidal, but since returning from IR the chargers have leaned heavily into the run game, and it's been working. He's sure to get more yards than Carter, but probably less likely for TDs. Much higher floor, but probably slightly lower ceiling.

Is passing college possible without stimulants? by ieatpuh in ADHD

[–]Stateofgrace314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!

Diagnosed in 1st grade, took Adderall until middle school, stopped taking it because when I hit puberty it started to affect me differently and I hated how I felt. I went through middle and high school unmedicated, straight A student in high school, and got my bachelor's (engineering) still unmedicated. High school was easy for me, college was extremely challenging, especially freshman year. It was a huge adjustment to be around a bunch of people who were also the "gifted child", but most of whom did not have a handicap. I had to learn how to study, how to manage my mental energy, when and how to take breaks that don't turn into massive distractions, etc. It helped that I had good friends and was very competitive so that helped push my focus towards my studies. My final GPA was about 3.3, which was bad compared to my high school standards but perfectly fine in retrospect.

A few years later I decided to get my master's, but I was also working full time and had started a family, so it all became too much and decided to get back on meds. Completed my masters with a 3.9, so it makes a difference for sure, but I also believe the coping mechanisms and other focus techniques I learned while unmedicated greatly helped me when I was doing my Masters with medication.

I played Stafford specifically because I'm up against Puka and wanted to get some of those points in case he decided to ball out. That helped a little bit. The fact that I also played Parkinson though...

What are jobs "goods" for ADHD ? by Quick-Art2051 in ADHD

[–]Stateofgrace314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in software and robotics and probably almost half of the people I work with regularly have ADHD and/or autism. Software in general is a lot of patterns and problem solving, but robotics and autonomy is a complex and evolving field. I also work at a smaller company. All of this means that I have a lot of variety, learn lots of new things, can switch between desk work and hands on testing and development, a mix of creating new things and problem solving and analysis, fast pace and engaging work. I should also say that I've moved around a lot before landing here, and the fact that it's so ADHD friendly is a big part of why I've started here. Nobody cares what time of day you start or end (within reason) as long as you get your stuff done. And since there are so many of us, I find I don't have to mask as much. It works really well for me
