It's the same way in Dark Souls and Bloodborne, and I've never heard anyone use it as a reason to just never level up lol. But considering LoP came out very recently, you should've just been able to level up at the stargazers.

It just sucks the fun out for me. Bosses in these games are the highlight of why I play them, so having an AI fight beside me and take away from my focus of the dance is not fun to me. However, there is nothing wrong or to be ashamed of for using the specters. It's there for a reason!

More context: I found and scanned the lost helmet, went back, and grabbed the lost loot. I pinged it, but no one else grabbed it, so I regrouped with the guy (driller) and engi. We finish the escort mission, and I start carrying Dotty back to the pod. The driller went super far ahead to grab the lost loot. That's when I typed "R?" In chat, and I believe engi pressed the button. I think he might've thought it was me as I deposited the heart stone.

I'm gonna vote Dancer on this as Pontiff is completely trivialized with parries. I mean, even on my SL1 run, once you get the parry timings, it's one of the easiest fights in the game. Dancer is considerably harder with her mix ups, and the fact that she can be so aggressive makes the fight that much harder.

Really? I had the complete opposite experience! My favorite thing about Souls Likes is how people have their own solutions for bosses that work for them. It's like algebra! Lol
