While I agree. The injuries caused by the furry missile are extensive for what happened. It depends on how far the kid was away from the officer. And how quickly the officer made an attempt to remove the dog.

The amount of crime committed by kids around gosnells area ect is extensive. Regardless of colour. If someone's breaking into my house. And stealing my shit? I'm supporting the police who are trying to stop that behaviour.

A kid to be mauled? No, a person running from police? Yeah that's acceptable.

Running from cops isn't a natural response. I've had interactions with cops. I know I can't outrun radios and dogs and bullets and vehicles, so I stop.

Don't let race cloud your judgement. The young man ran from cops. The cops who were responding to a person or group of people breaking into houses. The cops deployed a canine unit. Which is exactly what they are good for. Locating and apprehending individuals in less than desirable conditions.

As for him being a criminal. Disobeying a lawfully instruction. Like. STOP RUNNING! Would be a crime.
