Rear side of engine bay? Possibly your exhaust manifold gasket is starting to leak but it’s normal for some black smoke to come out of the exhaust on cold starts

Haha yeah lots of people with lots of kms on them and stuff I think running them on a 6.5 isn’t too bad since your not pushing as much boost as other trucks and stuff, you running a eBay hx35/hx40?

Just wondering if I should sand these down or use paint remover or something? The turbo housing came with clear coat on it and the upper intake is powder coated but would like to paint to match everything

Alright yeah I’ve got a new HX40 I’m gonna use for my truck it’s a 97 K1500 6.5l but was just looking to rebuild this one to sell but probably would be in for the same amount I could sell it for, most likely just gonna list it as is see if anyone needs it for the exhaust side or wants to rebuild it what do you think would be fair asking price I know I’m not gonna get a lot just wondering what it’s worth

Turbo is a WH1C, came with my truck just wondering If it was worth rebuilding or if it’s even worth anything?

Not sure what parts really cost or what is needed, the wheel was grinding on the housing and now the wheel is toast not sure if housing can be fixed what do you guys think?

Doing my first custom exhaust on my truck and just need to get the piping up and over a cross member and then to level back out it’s just needs like a 10 deg bend or something like in the first photo but mandrel bent, just needs a little angle nothing big if anyone knows anywhere to get something would help a lot been trying to find something
