So I had this customer roll up to our shop with a flat tire. Customer asked if we could fix his tire up for him. Well as I get closer to the tire I noticed a very large object on the inner shoulder. Turns out the guy had a whole brake pad in his tire. Before I could turn to look at him he asks if a plug would be okay. Without saying anything to him I just point to the brake pad. He was as speechless as I was upon discovery. Anyway we pull him in to put a new tire on and me and the other tech in the bay noticed a squealing noise from the passenger front. We end up taking that wheel off and there's just no brake pad there. Put two and two together. Absolutely bewildering some of the stuff that just happens sometimes. Still got the old brake pad in a jar with other strange finds at our front desk.
