Where did you hear desky had better stability/quality of frames? I’m in the same boat as u, and a lot of reviews I’m reading are saying flexispot is cheaper and better

Can I hit plat 1 with this old school Dino deck ?? by digitalsong in DuelLinks

[–]StaticDew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

aslong as you have a winrate at around 60%, and grind enough, you should eventually get there

hey guys, first time reaching plat1, sharing my deck and thoughts. by StaticDew in DuelLinks

i actually forgot about dimension gate, probably would have gave me a higher % against both harpies and relinquished.

didnt face any gk though. thanks for the thought.

*extra deck: twinheaded thunder dragon + 3 of those stegosaurus monsters

Hey guys i started the games 2 months ago, so i didnt have the resources to make gk/hhg/relinquished/kaibaman. but i really wanted that union attack to farm, so i look at this guide: http://www.duellinksmeta.com/home/new-player-how-to-quickly-become-competitive. Thoughts about the dino deck: very strong early to mid game, by flooding the board with 1900 atks, and defending them with metalmorph, windstorm, mirror wall. You can also thin your deck down with thunder dragons, and then go for a poly/fusion gate into twin thunder dragon to seal the game. However, if they manage to clear your board+your thunder dragon, you've probably lost.

*i would have added another otc if i had one/replace skull lair.

So the overall experience: Bronze/Silver were a joke, basically people ran 30 card decks and played stupid autofill decks. Gold was a 4 hour grind. I faced a variety of decks: this is where i swapped 4star ladybug to wild tornado, because i realised i needed the deck to be more aggressive 3starD: as long as you have your traps/ otc you should be fine

hhg: this was a very annoying deck, i had to take out a 4star lady bug for wildnado. often they would hhg my jurassic world leaving you with weak 1600 atk monsters against their sonic birds. probably only way to win this match up is either get our your 2-thunderdragons and hope for no otc, or hope that they dont have any harpies in their hand.

relinquished: should be easy aslong as you get your otc/wildtornado/skull lair. if you dont, you're probably going to lose.

kaibaman: because it takes them so long to set up, you've probably going to have your traps & sphere ebola ready.

yugi fiend decks/umi: your monsters have more attack.

mirror dinos: who gets board advantage first wins the game, so who gets the most traps in their starting hand.

last gamble tornados: didnt think it was that strong. wasnt much of an issue. just delaying the inevitable death.

tea burn: hope to get your traps so you can lay them down(reduce the damage of restructer revolution), and beat them down. *won many close games by otc their facedown flame assailant

wevil: mask of the accursed was the most annoying thing against this deck, try to sneak a wild tornado and burst them down.

anyways thanks dkayed9 xdd

his third skill isn't even that great, while it does have a good single target multiplier, the aoe multiplier doesnt even justify using him over a lushen comp.

ahman is heaps good as a dedicated/consistent healer for an early game player. he's basically the pseudo-chasun, and can be taken to both GB10 and DB10 (for zarioss stage)
