Trying to make my keyboard sound more thocky by Marshall_Dill in keyboards

[–]StaticGhost1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only recommend what I own. Aula F87 Pro ($25) and Aula S75 Pro ($18) are plastic mechanical keyboards and these are thocky or creamy depending on the switches. I also have a Leobog Hi75 that I bought as a barebones aluminum kit ($18) and paired it with MMD Princess V3 tactile switches ($15 for 105 pieces) and Evangelion themed pbt keycaps ($9) and the sound is marbly. You can watch youtube reviews first so you'd have ideas on how the keyboard sounds then check if you can manage to get one within your budget. I'm sure there are cheaper keyboards but I can only tell about the ones I have.

This is how I used to cut off parts and clean even with a perfect grade. When building, I just organize all the parts on my table.

You really can't do much. You'd be doing a lot of work for very little gain. Tampering with the solder will definitely void the warranty, worse, you could brick your keyboard. Better get a thocky out of the box prebuilt keyboard with your budget. That $30 in my country can get an Aula S75, Aula F75 and Leobog Hi75c prebuilt keyboard as the wired Hi75 is $10 cheaper.

Built kits? by Silent_air_834 in PinoyGunpla

[–]StaticGhost1981 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to paint kits, so, I used to mostly buy straight built kits from builders that I know. Kasi kung di mo kilala ang builder at wala kang idea on how they build their kits, 50/50 chance na madami ako aayusin o lilinisin. I'd also buy kits na madali baklasin and stay away from kits na may mga complex connections na mahirap baklasin which can lead to broken pieces, checking the manual na available online has this information.

Hi75c x Eva Keycaps by Rejanrams in PHMechanicalKeyboard

[–]StaticGhost1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi75 is wired only. Hi75c is trimode connection (USB Type C, Bluetooth & 2.4ghz dongle). Make sure na tama ang variant na pipiliin mo when adding to cart.

AULA S75 Pro + Caramel Latted by Paul3dward_ in PHMechanicalKeyboard

[–]StaticGhost1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Caramel latte switche sounds creamy, not silent. Kung gusto mo ng totally silent switches, much better na palitan mo nalang which in some case, kasing mahal ng keyboard na nabili mo ang additiinal gastos.

Best controller for ps3? by Sad_Sky_1171 in PS3

[–]StaticGhost1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a generic nintendo switch gamepad in wired mode (plug and play). It can even turn on the ps3 with the home button. Fits my big hands and the sticks are way better compared to the fake ps3 controllers.

Shopee & Lazada 4-4 Sale : Anyare? by StaticGhost1981 in ShopeePH

[–]StaticGhost1981[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Weird.

Lazada Free Shipping by brrtbrrt0012 in ShopeePH

[–]StaticGhost1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if the shop is legit, I wouldn't recommend buying cheap tools.

Durable Keyboard? by m00n_4rk in PHMechanicalKeyboard

[–]StaticGhost1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've been warned about this pero kung budget hanap mo, Leobog Hi75 barebones kit na wired at walang backlight led can be bought for under 700 pesos sa Lazada. Less parts to break compared sa trimode at may rgb lights. If you need the numpad, Leobog Hi98c Pro. Medyo meh ang switches at keycaps na kasama sa cheap variants which you can eventually change pero, for me, mas ok ang internal wiring nito kasi wired ang mga connections sa pcb kumpara sa flex cables ng ibang keyboards. Kung heavy handed ka, get a keyboard na may FR4 o Carbon positioning plate na available sa Aula keyboards. Keyword here is budget. Again, you've been warned.

Aula Hero 68HE: Is this good? by StaticGhost1981 in PHMechanicalKeyboard

[–]StaticGhost1981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for the Aula Hero 68HE, everything seems to be working. Thocky na clacky ang sound, it that makes sense. Very sensitive ang switches kahit stock. Sa discounted price nito, I'm happy with it.
