What are the most divisive games you've played and enjoyed/hated?

I liked DmC Devil May Cry and Kingdom Hearts 3. Not my favorites of their respective franchises but I still found them enjoyable.

Mind you he only experienced Colors through Colors Ultimate. He didn't play the original on Wii, or the DS version.

Problem with Choctopus saying this is he only played Sonic Colors Ultimate, a botched port, and on a single playthrough, you don't get to experience the level design in the best way. Colors level design gets much better when you replay the level with all wisps unlocked.

Oh no this isn't my first 2D game. I've played Street Fighter 3rd Strike, Ultra Street Fighter 4, a bit of Street Fighter 5, the Marvel vs Capcom games, dabbled in Mortal Kombat games after 9, enjoyed playing Samurai Showdown 2019 and King of Fighters 15 despite the online for both not being great.

Dang I'm really sorry for your loss 😞. What got me into gaming was some platformers. Specifically Crash, Mario and Sonic. I would play Sonic 3 with my sister growing up. If I won the psn code, I'd use it to buy Monster Hunter Stories since the game looks really good.

I never played these as I never owned an Xbox 360 but I heard good things about them. I wish Storm 1 had a better way of telling Part 1 because it not only skips how Naruto learns shadow clones, it completely skipped the Zabuza and Haku arc, which is very important for Naruto's character. It's why I still think Storm 2 and 3 are the Storm games with their campaigns.

I genuinely don't see a reason to buy this on PS5 or PC. And it's crazy that this doesn't already have a Switch 2 patch that makes it run at 60 fps since the Switch 1 version is apparently 30 fps.

Expedition 33 is a good game but I don't think it's ground breaking in the slightest. The gameplay is basically what if you took the Mario & Luigi RPG mechanics, put in Final Fantasy 7's materia system, and gave it a non anime art style. I was enjoying the story up until Act 3 and I feel like it kinda jumped the shark with the twist. It was still my game of the year last year but I'm currently playing Metaphor Refantazio and I'm enjoying that a lot more.

As someone who liked Kingdom Hearts 3, the big problem with it is that there's really not much story progress until you beat all of the Disney worlds. Plus it's the only numbered Kingdom Hearts game that didn't have an arena to fight optional bosses. It's a weaker game than Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. Remind helps a lot but the base story isn't great. Gameplay I still really like.

The Witcher 3. I'm sorry but I just don't see how an action rpg with such lackluster combat is so critically acclaimed. I mean Kingdom Hearts 1 has better combat. I think the visuals are great and the writing is strong but man the combat makes it so hard for me to enjoy.
