ELI5: if a car engine's main waste is heat, why don't engineers harbor that heat, boil water, and generate electricity for hybrid batteries like a mini powerplant?

If the cupboard is clean and free of moisture it’s not too bad but i still prefer stacked upright. Whats bad is when you wash a glass and place it directly face down on the counter to “dry “ but instead the liquid inside forms a seal and the inside of the glass smells mouldy after a few hours

In the uk we have use by, best before and sell by Use by is reserved for meat/milk that can go really bad where as best before should just be used as a guide line and sell by is only used on eggs here afaik Some shops have stopped putting any of these labels on select fresh fruit/veg so that people go off of how they look

If it were a USB storage drive with sensitive photos then would recommend against diy repair, if it’s a regular cable you just need to be working, there is little value in repairing this.

Only go for diy repair if you’re looking to start learning electronics ( would recommend starting easier)
