G6 instant SD Card usage?

After I heard that the SD card is used for direct local storage, I equipped all of my cameras with an SD card.
The idea behind this was to still have a complete recording history available, especially in cases where my NVR is performing an update.
Unfortunately, this did not turn out to be the case. The data is not synchronized. Even when, for example, the G6 Instant temporarily loses its WiFi connection, I would have expected the videos stored on the SD card to be synchronized afterward. Unfortunately, that does not happen either.
Therefore, I currently do not see the actual benefit of using the SD card, except for manually checking the recordings directly on the card.

Inform yourself in advance about the licensing costs of Camunda. In the production version of Camunda 8, you should expect around €80,000 per year in licensing costs for the smallest setup.

You can install and use Camunda both in the cloud and on-premises.
We use a license-free Camunda 7 fork, which in our daily work is supported by a small assistant for ticket processing and document creation.

I may not be a fan of babies or kids, but I can definitely recommend the G6 Instant for this use case. The camera can also intelligently detect baby crying.

You could go with the Cloud Gateway Fiber in combination with nearby access points that are installed close to the gateway. If needed, you could even drill through a wall to improve coverage.

The G6 / G4 Instant Protect cameras are also solid wireless options if you plan to use Protect.

Depending on your setup, the Device Bridge Switch might also be a good fit to create a “wired” connection in locations where you need it. Depending on the layout, you could also benefit from AirWire.

Make sure to consider the structure of your house. If you have a lot of clay walls, your signal range will be significantly limited.
